Bought these end of June for my mom and the latch literally melted off from the stove heat within 2 months of having them. Unfortunately, just got around to taking pics and writing this review. So disappointed especially because i cant return them. So frustrating!

This filter was the prefect fit when I had to replace the original that came with my hood.

Filter elements fit well in the fume hood but noticed that the frame is slightly thicker than the original factory filters. Possibly 1.5 mm thicker. However the material and fit is quite good and there align well with the opening. Filter material is metal rather then the synthetic Whirlpool branded filters.

Almost a perfect fit. There is a slim amount of room between them but I just pushed them closer together since there is a ledge around the perimeter. I chose the metal slip joints (original were plastic). They are overall much better than the original ones that came on the hood. They also feel more sturdy than my old ones.

A plastic piece broke on the originals that came with our Ikea vent hood so I bought these as a replacement. I was worried about the fit, but they fit better and more snuggly than the originals. Seem more sturdy in the long run, also!
