Works well as described. It’s unfortunate that this motor fails so quickly. The fan runs almost constant to send cold air to the door ice maker. Too bad that a $3000 refrigerator is designed this way. If you own a LG refrigerator be prepared for warranty work or DIY. Had to replace the craft ice maker as well.

I have an LG refrigerator with the ice/water dispenser in the door. My evaporator fan stopped working after two years and I needed a replacement. Unfortunately there are two evaporator fans in this refrigerator and the fans are of different size. This fan works on the refrigerator side but not the freezer side door.UPDATE I purchased this on December 30th installed in January and it has already gone out again. I purchased a second one as a spare in December so I’m going to try that one now. Not happy I have to tear this all down again!

I bought a new $3,600 LG refrigerator about 2-1/2 years ago and the fans have always been noisy, one finally started screeching and making noise followed by water all over the kitchen floor the following day. After replacing the fan with this one I thought I had gotten a defective unit since you couldn't hear it running but it's been working great. There was another fan next to this one for regulating upper compartment cooling-I noticed quite a bit of play in it So I ordered another one of these to replace it, same assembly different connector so will just have to re-pin the old connector. I think the original fan assemblies were out of balance leading to noisy operation and short life.
