Fit my 2003 1.8t gti. At first I thought the screw mounts didn’t sit flush but it all sat down once the screws were set in. I’m happy with this product.

Was able to swap the part in about 10 minutes. Don’t be worried if it looks a very small amount different from the OEM part it will fit perfectly in a 2004 1.8T Jetta.

This part fit perfectly in my 2001 Jetta 1.8t. The part was as described and a perfect replacement. It is working great so far and has taken care of my coolant light issue, must have been a bad sensor in the old reservoir, as expected. I will update if anything changes.

used it to replace the expansion tank in a '03 Jetta 1.8t. I was getting intermittent coolant light on the dash and the old tank was so discolored I was having trouble actually seeing the coolant in tank. Swapped it out with no issue, so far so good.Part comes as shown (no cap), cap from the old tank fit just fine.
