It seems to work for my purpose. I was hoping to use it to connect 1¼ vacuum hose to 1½ pump hoses but the 1½ was too big to get a seal. I improvised by pushing this into the 1¼ pool outlets then connecting my hose after shutting off the extra outlet so I made it work.

Needed to cut to work on intex pool a cheap piece of plastic probably cost them 10 cents to make if that

Worked perfectly as intended.If you are you are looking at this to assemble all the accessories you need for an inground pool. You may not need this. Check the port beneath the skimmer basket.We are new inground pool owners. We bought this adapter to connect a 1 1/2" hose to the vacuum hose port in an inground pool. Someone later showed me the hose plugs directly into the port under the skimmer basket. This adapter worked well but we didn't need it.

La verdad es que no le queda bien a la entrada de una alberca bestway y como que no parece generar un buen sellado entre mangueras, de hecho ni con una manguera de la misma marca, es de un plástico corriente, así que no la recomiendo, y va de regreso, lástima.Actualizo: La verdad es que sí me ha sido muy útil, nunca la regresé, sí vale la pena

Bought this adapter as the MX6 replacement hoses are a rip off.. I bought a 40' hose (1.5") and it wouldn't fit into the wall of the pool. This attachment works as I am able to connect it to the wall now and the pool vacuum works.

After spending months looking for an adaptor to connect my Intex Pool (16'x32'), water intake to an underwater pool vacuum i bought, I finally found it! Neither Intex Pools nor the vacuum maker sell an adaptor for their own products. Pics show connection to white back flow prevention device in pool. Adaptor is a basic slip-fit yet is completely air tight! And the Intex water inlet clear hose with ring clamp going to the pump.
