Your cart is empty.This is for four (4) quality marine grade stainless steel (AISI 316) spring hook with no eyelet 5/16". Each spring hook is stamped 316. The Metric equivalent is generally considered to be 8mm. Not to be used for overhead lifting. AISI 316 stainless is a premium grade of stainless and is considered by many to be best in class. 316 stainless is corrosion resistant and very durable even in the harshest of conditions. Working Load Limit = 279lbs.

They arrived with no mechanical issues and seem to be a well made carabiner.However, when doing the magnet test the main body was not magnetic but the gate and pin were. So this does not appear to be a full 316 stainless steel carabiner.I am not sure if this is made in the US, made in the US with US steel, or if the company is just called US Stainless. Better clarification on this carabiner and where it is made would be nice.eI will be keeping these and will report back if there are any long term issues.

Great fit and finish, perfect for my project! Replaced hooks on cambuckle straps with these, just holding the bikes upright so I don't need to ratchet down.Closures snap shut nicely and both parts latch together solidly.

Great product. True 316 grade SS and work perfect for boat and marine use. No rust, not even blemished after months of use so far. These hold up great.Definitely recommend.

One carabiner was bad right out of the package. The gate has a flat pin inside that creates the tension. After opening and closing a few times the pin twisted, fell out of place, and no longer created enough tension to close the gate. The other 3 worked fine. They do however seem like they will withstand saltwater conditions for a long time. I will update if they fail prematurely.

Basic. Solid. Have been under water in the harbor for weeks and seem to be holding up well. Glad I went with the marine stainless steal option.
