Easy as an AC receptacle to install. Replaced a lower quality brand and lower output USB unit that failed after 18 months. This unit looks great and has enough power for fast charging and multiple devices.

I have no complaints with how this works. Installation was a pain. It is quite a large / deep outlet. Plus, the hot and neutral connections are not the greatest. I had it as tight as I could with a hand of screwdriver and the wire slipped out twice using 12 gauge. Functionally, it works great and looks great once installed. Warning, if you don't have a deep electrical box you're going to have trouble. But, it works great.

Was looking for USB-C outlets which provide enough power for any device, including laptop charging. Those GAN outlets do the job just right. When picking the outlet be sure to check a breaker on this circuit for maximum power output. If your breaker is 15 amps, that’s the model you want, not to overload the circuit.Look nice too!

Charges all my devices without needing their 110v power bricks: iPhone, iPad, MacBook, random tools and toys. If anything fails to charge, I was able to resolve by trying a different usb-c cable.Note the max Watt rating: if you plug in multiple power-hungry devices they will charge at reduced speed. For example, we have two MacBook Airs plugged in, they will charge fine overnight but if we use both during the day the battery will drop below 100%. Still, it provides enough charge to get the MacBooks through the day and they’ll be back to 100% in the morning.After a few months, it developed a barely-audible humming noise which is why I deducted a star. Otherwise still functions and looks great.

I recently installed this highly efficient 3-outlet USB-C charging outlet, and I couldn't be more pleased with its performance. This innovative outlet significantly reduces the frustration I used to experience when needing multiple USB connections, especially when both AC outlets weren't necessary. Prior to this installation, managing USB cords while trying to fit them between tightly spaced AC outlets was quite a challenge—particularly in hard-to-reach spots behind the nightstand or end table.With this new outlet, the AC outlet has been replaced by ample space for USB cords, making organization and accessibility effortless. It has worked flawlessly since installation, which was several months ago, providing a reliable power source for my devices. Additionally, its ETL certification offers an extra layer of assurance regarding safety and quality. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this upgrade; it has simplified my charging routine.
