Easy to install onto the side panel of my case mounted 200mm fan, provides decent air flow and filters dust well, protects fan blades and fingers, easy to clean.Works for me.

I tested 20+ shrouds, grates, filters, etc. The problem with 200mm is too long for me to explain succinct, however every other filter/grate I tested either suffocated the 200mm stopping it from function or was JUST a grate with no dust protection. The big issue were filters that suffocate the fan, at that point you might as well turn the fan off. Some filters were making the fan work at about 5% total pressure, which is impossibly low. This uxcell covers the fan and offers decent dust protection (you could trade the filter too if you wanted). Best news is that temps are identical as with no filter or cover. It doesn't feel like a tank. I bet I could break it easily if I was messing with it rough. But for a server case with a 200mm fan slot this works perfect. It looks pretty solid but if you really look you can tell it is hard plastic. This is the first 200mm dust cover and grate I would recommend. Probably the only based off every other one I have seen. You essentially have to go custom to do better than the uxcell.

I decided to create a door with exhaust fans on the back of my computer desk where my computer tower sits so it would force fresh air past the case. When closing the door, sometimes the cables would get into the fan blades, so I needed some kind of grille. I also wanted some filter over the fans to increase their longevity. I ended up sandwiching my fans in between the 2 sides of the grille.Pros:• The plastic quality is good for this application. It feels sturdy (not too cheap) for the thickness and structure of this design. The plastic has a pleasant tactile feel.• The pieces snap together / match up with each other perfectly.• One of the two sets of mounting holes matched up perfectly with my 200mm Fans(Cooler Master MegaFlow).• It looks nice. There are no rough spots visible spots where the liquid plastic poured into the mold.Cons:• Price. The aforementioned fans were about $14 a piece, yet these fan grilles were $8.14 a piece. Considering how much more complex the fan is (and the cost to produce), I would have liked to pay $5 - 6 a piece. Otherwise, this would have been 5 stars.

Does what it says it does. I like how it covers the screws. A bit overpriced though.

It's great. I didn't really read the description because I assumed it was just a simple plastic grill with a tight mesh for filtering dust, but was pleasantly surprised when I saw it. It has a grill that screws to the case as expected (mine is actually for a fan that exhausts heat out of the enclosed desk my pc is in, so it's screwed into the desk itself), then it has a square sheet of reticulated poly foam filter media, and another grill that snaps onto the 1st grill to sandwich the filter media. To clean the filter, all you do is snap the cover grill off, and rinse/beat the dust out. My application doesn't need to be filtered, but that doesn't change the fact that this is more impressive than I expected, especially for the price. The one caveat is that it's about 1/4 inch thick with the filter and cover grill, so clearance could be an issue. You could still use it without the filter if clearance is tight though.
