These are nice because they're longer than the standard standoffs that are normally attached with existing VGA ports. With the added length, these standoffs allow me to install my VGA ports into thicker material. Glad I have these on hand now!

Used these to make a custom cable-routing box for work, where we needed DB-type connectors on the box. So, we needed jack-nuts. These have a good length of thread for different panel thicknesses (unfortunately, almost all panel-mount connectors are limited to 1/16" panel thickness), making it easier to start threading the nuts.I suppose these could also be used as PCB standoffs, though that wasn't the first thing that came to mind.

What can you say about a 4-40 Jack Screw. These are decent quality with a good finish. I am using them for repair units that arrive with missing rear port jack screws and they work well.
