Many of these rotaries fit in 1U enclosures but this needs 2U, it’s hard to know that from a photo and while they do say the dimensions, Amazon listings are notoriously bad at those measurements. So I was surprised the thing really is that big, although this style of rotary did used to be that big in the era. It seems otherwise fine though I haven’t tested it yet in practice.

Really well designed switch. Use it for a function switch in a vintage Sansui 9500, but easily could be an RF bandswitch.
