These flat screws are perfect for mounting drives into trays - they don't 'portrude' so if you are using a sliding tray it will work.I was looking to mount some new drives ( Samsung SSDs) into my trays on my server (HP DL380e) and they worked perfectly!!

I was a little worried that these screws would be to big for my application - I was taking a standard 3.5in Drive and replacing it with a 2.5in drive with a Dell hard drive tray (Dell R494D) - however im sure it would work with other 2.5 to 3.5 converters.As seen in the picture they fit in the hole and are long enough to reach the HD and hold it securely. I am happy with the product as alot of the screws that I had laying around were either to big to fit into the SSD (or the threads to large) or they were not long enough to go through the plastic and grab the hard drive.

I was worried these would not work on the sled that the hdds usually go to but they fit perfectly. If your looking for mounting screws to a hdd sled, this is it. My only gripe is that it's not black but that's just an esthetic that if I'm really pressed I can probably just paint them myself. Otherwise they are perfect for the buck.

Someone listed in another review as a 'con' that they have nickel in them and don't work with magnetic screwdriver tips.Couple things here.1. You're not really supposed to use anything magnetic while working on a PC. But these are so mild I don't mind at all.2. These screws absolutely work with magnetic tips. I tested it with mine by sticking the screwdriver down into the bag and it came out with screws stuck to it.Not much else to review here. They're screws. they either work or they don't. Mine worked just fine.

These srews really screw. You have never experienced screwing like the little babies until you screwed them. I would know, I spent quite a bit of time screwing with these screws.
