The only issue is there's not a cross reference as to wire sizes that can be used with the 15, 30 and 45 amp connectors. There's few references on the internet that provide this information.

Anderson Powerpoles are THE way to connect wires together. Hint: All the plastic parts (both red and black) are the same, regardless of the amperage run through them. The difference in current carrying capability is with the metal tabs. The 45 Amp ones have the fold-over sides; the 15 and 30 Amp ones are easily distinguishable by the diameter of wire they will accept. Don't drive yourself nuts by trying to keep them separate. I used to solder everything. I finally gave up that PITA project - they do just fine unsoldered. Finally, look for the black boots on Amazon that cover them - they make a nice protective shield for connectors that will remain exposed.

I bought this as a "just in case" because the price was right. The day it arrived I had an unexpected need for 45 amp pins. I was surprised as to how well they worked with the proper crimpper.
