These have a nice tight fit on my handlebars, which is exactly what you want from a bar plug. The main reason I like these screw-tightened ones is that I've had the simple plastic ones fall out on multiple occasions, whereas I've never had one of these fall out. It was actually a little tricky to get them in because if you just push on the cap it spreads out the base and it won't go into the bar. I had to push on the "fingers" by themselves a little and then push the cap in to get them installed.

I upgraded my cheap plastic handlebar end caps with these aluminum alloy ones and I am very happy with the outcome. They don't weight too much more than the plastic ones but they look much better and I am very happy with this upgrade to my bike. Easy to install and great looking these endcaps provide the added flair I was looking for on my bike.Would recommend!
