I’m have three of these and I love the digital display on the one this unit, but I can honestly say I think my older units are more powerful. This one doesn’t seem to boil water as fast and I have to keep the unit on a higher setting to keep the water boiling when I cook pasta. That said, it works and they’re a lot cheaper than spending thousands on an induction stovetop.

I decided to utilize my 220 volt Outlet in my garage and get the 3500 watt version of this induction stove. All I got to say is man this thing heats up your pots and pans fast! Within 10 seconds of turning it on your oil is smoking! I made the mistake of letting it warm up too long the first time I used it and ruined my wok because it got too hot. (burned the non-stick stuff on it). So be careful that you have something in the pan or wok by before it gets too warm! Heats up much faster than my natural gas stove. My only complaint is that the surface your pan sits on is slippery smooth because it's just glass, and the pan slides off very easily so if it's not perfectly level you'll have issues keeping your pan where you want it! I'm also not really sure that the temperature settings work very well. So I mainly cook by power (wattage) instead of temperature.

For clarity, this is a review of the 1500 Watt model.Overall, this unit works well. For the price, I am not disappointed. However, the functions on this unit are pretty weird, and complicates the unit unnecessarily. I will go over each individual function.Hot Pot: This allows you to select a wattage it operates at. The options are 1500w, 1400w, 1300w, 1200w, 1000w, 800w, 600w, 400w, and 200w. This is the most "traditional" of the functions, as it operates as you'd expect a traditional range dial to work. Think of it as high, medium, low, etc.Fried: Very similar to Hot Pot, but rather than power levels, you set target temperatures. The options are 518f, 464f, 428f, 392f, 356f, 320f, 284f, 248f, and 176fStewing: Max power on a timer. Can't adjust power.Soup: Max power on a longer timer. Can't adjust power.BBQ: Functionally identical to Fried mode.As to why they include these modes, I have no idea. Personally, I would just leave it on "Hot Pot" and not worry about the other modes. There is also a timer, which works fine. One oddity is that there is no button to press to confirm the timer. You just let it sit for a while and it will confirm the timer through inactivity. There is also a "Booster" button. This just locks the unit at 1500 Watts, which makes it functionally meaningless, as it is the same as turning the temperature all the way up.Overall, once you get past the quirks, this is a very solid unit, but I can't quite give it 5 stars...
