Very heavy. This thing is definitely for people that are active and have been for a while. I found it took a little massaging of the vest to make them flatter to be more comfortable on your back. Other than that when they say this is for experienced people, I would highly recommend it. I am happy. I bought some smaller weighted vest as well and will be working my way up to this west.

I purchased the 12lb weighted vest which is comfortable and adjustable. I like that it has a clip on pouch for your keys, air pods or phone. Easy to remove and clean.
