I attempted to install a Bigsby B7 on my Epiphone LP 100 with this hardware, however the 2 front mounting screws are not long enough to grip the extremely countersunk threads of the mounting plate after passing through the mounting holes in the Bigsby, partly due to the plate mounting bolts sitting up ever so slightly by almost a screw thread and so the mounting screws just spin in place. This item is obviously not designed for an archtop guitar as it's advertised to be, since holding the tremolo unit level in place on the mounting plate lifts the tail of the Bigsby nearly a full inch off the bottom of the guitar body and would in no way line up with the strap pin. In the end I was able to utilize the strap button plate to avoid drilling more than 2 holes in my guitar but suffice it to say I'm basically left with the remainder a $62. paper weight. Save your money or take your chances, some I've read have decent luck.

First off I have now installed 3 Vibrate/Bigsgy B7s. They are very easy to install, on the right guitar. I bought this for my Epiphone ‘56 Gold Top. After installing it I saw that the Bigsby stuck out about an 1/8”. You can see the angle of the tail of the Bigbsy at the end pin in the pic. So, I tried it on my ’82 Gibson Custom CSB Les Paul. As you can see in the pic, not even close!!! The Bigsby sticks out a good ½”. So on to plan C. I tried it on an Agile AL2000 and it was a perfect fit as you can see in the pics. Reminds me of a story of 3 bears. There is nothing wrong with the Vibramate or the Bigsby B7. I will say that I really didn’t want to put the Vibramate and B7 on my Agile 2000. The Vibramate and B7 cost more than the guitar. The guitar was only $200. But that’s where it will stay. The other 2 Vibrmate/B7 combos are both on Agile AL guitars. They definitely have something going on in the right direction. Both of those setup are perfect! I also added a Vibramate String Spoiler, a must have for all Bigsbys! So, beware! Measure your guitar b4 you kick your hard earned money on a Vibramate and B7 to make sure it will fit. When they fit they are awesome!

This made my installation a breeze. I took about 10 minutes to install it, and that's because it was my first time! One last thing, I bought a Bigsby B7 knock off on Amazon and this worked perfectly on it!!!

I have bought a B70 by mistake by somehow managed to return it and got myself a Nickel B7 instead (it seemed only aluminum ones were available nowadays). Fits perfectly with Vibramate except the lever position was a bit that needs getting used to ! Still, the whole fitting process was effortless ! Highly recommended for those looking for whammy sounds with humbuckers !

This is my 4th Vibramate install, all on US made Gibson Les Pauls. Each was pretty easy. I used the felt pads you have to take off the Bigsby as extra finish protection by sticking them to the tail piece of the Vibramate. Also, it was a pleasant surprise to find that Vibramate's new extender for the strap pin was included. That made for a cleaner and more secure attachment of the Schaller strap locks that I use. I actually went and bought extenders for my other Vibramate/Bigsby Pauls!

I bought this for use with my Gibson Standard LP. interestingly, when I screwed this down all the way, the Bigsby was sticking up so much I couldn't mount it. I ended up loosing this piece so that there was some flexibility on the bigsby and then the tailpiece was able to reach. Even though the top mount is not tightened all the way, it's still perfectly stable, I just had to get the screwed adjusted to exactly the right height. Was a little surprised. I guess the arch on my LP is more than they were expecting? Anyways, it works, but I almost returned it before I decided to try to install it "slightly loose".

I recently acquired a Les Paul Standard in mint condition. I've always had a whammy bar on my Fenders and I really wanted to mount a Bigsby on the Les Paul but I was loathe to mar the finish and structure of a classic Les Paul. When I found the Vibramate it solved all my problems. The device installed easily without marring the original structure of the guitar. The Bigsby works just as it would if it had been screwed into the guitar body. This is a great little device.
