It was super cute! The only issues, the needles that came with it to use as the stand, they wouldn't stay in the holes of the wood stand. If you try to put the needles in the hole and then try to slide the flamingo onto the needles, the needles would just go completely into the flamingo and come out of the stand.

Awesome idea and well executed. Well almost well executed. I am also nitcpicking.First the good. The flamingo was a gift and it looks very well made. Bright color and a hat. It is also quite soft the face has the prefect expression for a messenger. The hands have nice magnets that are neither too strong to open and not too weak to let the message drop. Takes a bit of getting used to opening the hand and setting up a new message card. But simple and a little kid can do it.It comes with a base and the weight is perfect to be balanced on the base.In the spirit of crochet the mounting is done with needles. There are two half holes in the base where you can stick the needles in. And then slide the flamingo over. The needles are nice and long and sturdy. However, the needles can poke through the body if this is not carefully done. I worry that this can be a problem.But the concept, execution and the messages are perfect. This was great item.

Got this for my wife because she is a nurse. She got a good kick out of it. She took it to work to keep on her desk. Looks nice and is good value

Adorable. This is the perfect gift for those Flamingo lovers you know. My SIL will love this little guy. Just the right size for her desk at work and it won't be a distraction or in the way.

I read the description wrong and thought that this was a kit and was excited to have another pattern to draw from and learn, but it was already done which is fine. It does have a lot of different inspirational messages that you can change out easily as the little hands are magnetic and hold the cards perfectly! Definitely worth the money
