We enjoyed them for my 8 yo but when bought for my 11 yo they seemed to run very small. Great material and quality though!

My son started wearing these shorts as a first grader at the recommendation of a neighbor who had 3 boys. She told me the shorts were worn by all 3 boys over the course of a couple years and they still looked new so I tried them. She was right.They are super soft. We use them as school uniform shorts on the weekdays and everyday shorts the rest of the time. A great perk is that they dry super fast and can be used as swimwear. My kid will jump into water any chance he gets, and he's done that many times with these shorts. Stains come out easily and they somehow never seem to show signs of wear.My only advice is to hang them dry rather than use the dryer. They dry crazy fast anyway, and maybe that's the key to why they seem to look new even when they get worn every single day?Anyway, I'm 6 years into it and these are the only shorts my tween will wear to this day. He has them in every color. We HIGHLY recommend.
