While in England, I was able to use the adapter to plug the device into; which then gave me multiple ports for phone/other device power. While in Spain, the plug itself was already wall-compatible so the extra adapter was not necessary there.Because the wall adapter is multi-region; you could also use this in the USA - I am glad I bought for my trip.

Purchased this for a trip to Europe. Initially I was impressed with all of its functionality. On our third day the power button broke. We had securely packed it with my wife's CPAP machine and the device itself was not damaged. The button, when pushed went down a quarter of an inch instead of just powering on.

Luckily we bought this and another brand. This one worked great for my wife's apple watch and iPhone, but did not allow her hair straightener to even turn on. Other than that, the outlets worked to charge my Android. We wound up swapping with the other converter for her straightener. Glad we took 2 but returned both.

If you're planning to go to Europe, you will need something like this. It seems to cover all bases for the UK and France and other EU countries, and most importantly in my estimation, it will also supply power for your electronic devices via its 2x type A and 2x type C ports. If you are using anything that uses North American 120v power, this will convert the power for you. There is one important distinction and the seller tries very hard to make this point: hair straightener YES - hair dryer - NO. It will not be able to support your beautiful hair dryer so leave it at home. In my case, I found the hotels where I stayed had a hair dryer in the room that worked just fine on the local outlets. Sometimes they keep a few at the front desk, but yours won't work using this device. In fact if you try, you will intermediately smell the end result as your nice hair dryer burns up - leave it at home.Otherwise this will do all you need. The cord is five feet long and detaches to make packing easier. In my case, the first thing I did when I got to my room, was to plug in my converter and make that the center point for our electronics and 110 devices. Many hotels in Europe take great pride in putting their electrical outlets in hard to reach places, carefully set behind some bed leg or TV stand, and you will be very happy to be able to bring your power where you would like it to be.The converter has multiple adapters that will fit just about any electrical device outside North America - certainly in Europe, and you should consider this device as first on your list of things to have. Bring the hair straightener but leave the dryer home. This is a versatile and well made device for your travel and I recommend it.

The WDATM Universal Travel Adapter is a power strip/surge protector that will work in most countries around the world. The box contains the main power strip/surge protector and a power cord for the main power unit. This power cord has a double prong European style plug. Also included are an instruction booklet and a Universal plug that can accommodate outlets in the U.S., Australia, U.K., China and more. This power adapter has an output that fits the European plug of the power cord.Truth be told, I am not that experienced at world travel. I selected the WDATM Universal Travel Adapter because my wife and I will be traveling to Europe next year. Since the power cord has the same plug as the power adapter output does that mean that I can plug the power strip straight into the wall of my European hotel or do I still need to use the power adapter? It doesn’t clarify that anywhere in the instructions. While the WDATM Universal Travel Adapter does appear to be well made it is quite hefty and bulky. It is nice that it can power 4 U.S. AC devices and 4 USB devices simultaneously but if the user doesn’t need to power that many devices simultaneously it might be more space and weight efficient to bring a smaller, lighter adapter. Also, the main unit provides surge protection. Does this mean that it may not be permissible on a cruise ship?Pros:1. Can power 3 separate wall warts simultaneously2. 2 USB A and 2 USB C fast charging ports3. Power adapter will work almost everywhere in the world4. Solid constructionCons:1. Heavy2. Bulky3. Instructions do not specify how to use power adapter

This item worked perfectly for our trip to England. We wanted also to have a voltage converter and this item has that feature as well. The best part is this can be used worldwide. It has several plugs that are used in different areas of the world. I highly recommend this product when traveling!
