Directly replaced 8m0006034 on my boat. It was not charging. I tested the ohms of the stator, which checked out ok. Bought this inexpensive part and switched it out, and now my battery is charging again.

I purchased this regulator / rectifier because the picture showed the exact 6 wires as the one on my outboard motor. When I received it today there were only 5 wires and there were different electrical connectors then that shown in the picture.
