The electric motor in this ratchet is substantial, you can tell by the weight of it alone. You feel like you have a quality tool in your hand, not some cheap piece of junk. The unit comes in a set - basically everything you need to open the case and get to work. The two batteries being included is a huge plus, work with one while the other is recharging as necessary.I really like the variable speed. That makes all the difference to finese bolts out and nuts off in tight places. Single speed just wouldn't work here.It has plenty of torque and the battery life will soley depend of length of use or frequency of use. I haven't wore the battery completely down yet. This is a great addition to my tool chest and is so much quicker than a standard ratchet. It is compatable with other standard or metric 3/8 inch drive sockets. At this price point it is well worth the money and a solid competetor to the brands available at the big box hardware stores or auto part stores.

Purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend who’s the handy one in the relationship, and he’s very happy with it. So far it’s worked well for everything he’s used it for, and for the price, you can’t beat it. The case too is a nice touch.

Absolutely love this thing been working on my car recently and some other house projects and having an electric ratchet saves miles and miles of time and effort needed to do some of those hard to get bolts. I see tons of these tools at the hardware store and they’re all super expensive so it was nice that this one was relatively cheap at under 70 bucks. It seems super sturdy and has worked pretty well in the last few days. It lasted a decent amount of time and it’s pretty powerful considering. It’s lightweight and easy to use and I would highly recommend it to anyone working on anything. They need to use a ratchet for it also came with its own sockets, which is super useful because I lose mine all the time and I just got a replenishment looking forward to continue using it over the next few years before I probably come back and replace it :-)

Compared to my M12 ratchet, this one is slightly larger and less ergonomic. It claims to have slightly more torque but it doesn’t feel like it. The handle feels sensitive enough, definitely not just an on/off switch. Gives good control over the speed. The batteries, dock, and included sockets are a nice bonus, and the sockets are pretty decent too.Definitely has enough power for minor stuff but simply due to the ergonomics I’d always go for the M12 instead. It’s just slightly too big to work in tight spaces.

Overall, it's a good torque wrench. With 40 lbs. of torque you should be able to use it on bike repairs, lawn mowers and some auto uses like brakes, value covers or oil pans. It won't work on lug nuts or frame components which require a lot more force. But if you don't do a lot of auto work, you should be fine. However at this price point there are other similar product you could consider for a lesser amount. It comes with a nice case, 2 batteries, charger and some metric sockets. It would be nice to have some SAE sockets but I will use the ones that I have with my socket set. They are not impact sockets but at 40 lbs. of torque, it should be fine.
