Easy way to print your photos from your iPad or iPhone.Quality is fair (I didn't expect a super quality like "museum-quality").This is for private use and perfect for that.

Photos take 4 passes to come out and then remain a bit tacky until they dry. Each photo takes about 1.5 minutes to process and then the photos are always a bit blurry. Nice to have to get the photos out of your phone, but temper your expectations before dropping all the money on the unit and the refill cartridges.

It's definitely a five star product.I have bought too many printers the last 2-3 months but nothing beats this photo cube.Best thing I've ever bought, and would recommend it to absolutely everyone.

I just received mine in the mail this morning and I have used it 3 times already and I love it. It was so easy to install the app and it just walked you thru the rest. The color of the picture is great and I couldn't be happier. I used mine with an IPad and just used the USB port to connect it to the photo cube and it worked perfect. I send my pictures from my phone to my ipad with the cloud and there is also a wireless way to transfer pictures from facebook and messages called "air something" I can't remember the whole name but it came right up on facebook when I wanted to transfer a picture. Now I have a way to print one picture at a time if I want. Quality appears to be good. I wish the replacement cartridges weren't so expensive but its worth it.

If you're looking for a really "neat" gift or wanting to copy pics off your iphone/ipad, LOOK NO FURTHER! This little wireless printer is it.It is very compact, so it can go with you...easily! The price is not bad, either, considering it has an ink cartridge (only 12 pics) already installed when you get it. But when you order your printer, order extra cartridges, which comes with 36 pics. HINT: Amazon is your BEST BUY!!!I can't say enough about this printer....EXCEPT this is my 5th purchase. Am buying one for my family & friends (ONLY the ones that I REALLY like)...:-)Enjoy!!!!

As I'm a technological idiot and my husband is a gadget lover, I let him loose with the printer. He managed to get it up and running in about 3 mins - in his words "very easy to set up" and printed off some good resolution photos. The software provided with the printer also allowed him to fit six mini photos on one of the photo sheets, so it's o.k. value for teeny tiny photos.Recommended as a present for a gadget lover.

I must say for under $100s this is a great buy and does pretty much what I want. I like the size cause I can take it around my house or from place to place with the carrying case. I have many printers from small to 64" from Dye Based to Pigment based ink. This is dye sublimation which burns the ink from the cellophane to the paper.I have no Idea how long the photos will last in the open, but this is more for immediate gratification then for show quality. I noticed some lines from the free roll it comes with, but when I used the one I paid for they seem almost nonexistent. The paper that comes in the roll of the cartridge and the (ink)is complete no mess and very quick to change. I read a review before I bought this and one said you need to provide 4" x 6" paper. I don't think they reviewed this product, cause dye sub uses it's own type of paper. It comes off the roll and in about a minute after it's last pass out of the printer it automatically cuts the photo. Comparing these photos to my best machine is not fare, but giving people the chance to print from their own phones or mine right here right now is very cool. The free program you need to download from the Mac side or the android side is good enough to do everything but really making your image lighter or darker. It has templates built in to help you get many different sizes from your 4" x 6". Overall I really think this is a clean, easy way to print photos right away anywhere. If you can get the cartridges for between $14-$17 your picture cost is .39-.47 per photo.Dan

I love the idea of printing top quality photos from the home, I've been doing this for some time with my epson photo printer which does a great job at a decent cost when compared to places that do them for you. The phototube reminds me of the Polaroid pogo printer, it does a decent job and looks great but is let down by the fact the cartridge is pricey! I got 250 photos printed at Asda for about £7 but this thing costs over £10 for a 36 print cartridge and is the same quality. The build quality of this is nice, solid and sturdy and actually compliments the apple range in its design. In some ways its frustrating that HTC and other brands move their usb port to different sides of the phone and not just at the bottom of it as a dock section would have been great for other phones too, but like my HTC One S the charging port is on the side of the phone! But this is no fault of the photocube. All in all the biggest flaw of this is the price per print, it just doesnt add up when compared to what is on offer from local photo stores or photo printers that are a bit more affordable. I think if you really love gadgets and dont mind the cost then this is a good buy to sit next to your apple gear, despite it supporting other phones it looks better along side an iPad or iPhone.

I purchased this VuPoint PhotoCube on 11/11/2011. I used it once to print out Christmas pictures, and put it away until yesterday, when I needed to print out more photos. The cartridge that came with it printed out two photos beautifully, and then ran out of ink/paper...so I replaced it with the replacement cartridge I bought when I bought the PhotoCube on amazon.com (VuPoint ACS-IP-P10-VP Photo Cube Color Cartridge Ink). All went well until I tried to print out my remaining photos with the new cartridge installed. It only printed the very top of the picture...the rest of the photo was blank. I then started troubleshooting, as per the Owner's Manual that came with it, and reinstalled the new cartridge, unplugged the power source, plugged it back in, and properly docked my iphone. It still only printed the top edge. I tried this twice (and wasted a lot of the expensive cartridge's photo paper in the process)...still no luck. Then I emailed Support at VuPoint.com and told them the whole process I went through and what was happening. They emailed back and said it sounds like I have a defective PhotoCube and asked when I bought it. I wrote back and told them when I bought it, explained it had only been used once, and that it worked beautifully until the cartridge had to be replaced. I've heard nothing more from them.Since the product is past amazon.com's 30 day return policy, I seem to be completely out of luck. The only other option offered on their Return/Exchange Policy page is to sell it. I can't sell a Photo Cube that doesn't print pictures. This piece of junk printed beautifully the ONE time I used it. As soon as it needed the replacement cartridge, it became defective and useless...and I'm out $99.99 for the printer and $18.25 for the replacement cartridge.

There was only one review for this product when I was shopping for an iPhone photo printer. However, this was the only product I could find on Amazon. So I took a chance and bought it. I'm glad I did! This item is so easy to use. You only have to download a free app from iTune store. Whenever you need to print a picture, you just dock it on the printer. It's that easy!! The picture quality is not as good as what you normally get from a professional place, but it is good enough for average viewing. I would recommend this product.
