It's a little aon the smaller side. Probably won't keep up with the heat on extreme gear ratios. Build quality seems decent enough. I'd say its worth the money for a new hobbyist

I bought this cooling fan and motor heatsink set for my husband’s Team Associated Pro4 SC10. Although it’s advertised for the Traxxas Slash, the motor diameter on the SC10 was similar enough that the heatsink fit perfectly and snapped on securely. He used the included Y-adapter to power both fans from a single port on his receiver, which made setup quick and easy.The fans don’t blow a huge amount of air, but they definitely perform better than the bare heatsink he was using before. After about an hour of hard racing, the motor stayed much cooler. One caution: there are no protective grills on the fans. If you're not using a dust cover like he is, it would be easy for dust or debris to jam them. Overall, this was a great upgrade for keeping the Pro4 SC10 running cooler and more reliably.

Fans work great on my slash 4x4. Heat sink fits right plus you can slightly squeeze the heatsink to make it fit even tighter if you need it to. Fans work great as I have no overheating issues on 3s. Quality is decent and looks great

This fan combo worked for my rustler VXL. The heat sink snapped right on. The esc fan cover is very close to the Traxxas blue plastic color. The dual fan on the motor is set on an aluminum plate that is then set on the heating. That will allow you to swap out the fans for something else if you want. I found the dual fans to be pretty slow. But it is nice they included a jst Y-harness so you only use one port on your receiver.Overall, for the price, this is a decent fan setup, especially if you just bought a new rustler and need some cooling right out of the box. It will get you by so you don’t overheat quickly.

This cooling fan combo is a perfect fit for a VXL system. No issues when installing this to my slash 4x4. Must have for any VXL system. Highly recommended product.
