Got this Auger after my Kitchenaid KRMF706ESS01 ice maker stopped dispensing ice earlier last year. We are out of warranty so a repairman was going to be pricey. My husband trouble shot the issue and we narrowed it down to a gear catch in the OEM part. My husband was easily able to install this part the same day that it arrived. My icemaker dispenser has been down almost a year now but this part finally has it working again! I am so happy that it fit my fridge as I was not sure. It has only been a few days but it is so nice to not need to open the fridge to get ice! The quality seems great and the price is even better! I would buy this part again if doing things all over and honestly would recommend it to anyone who is trying to fix things themselves!

Worked well for KitchenAid krff707ess01. I had to by the auger drive shaft as well.

This was advertised as being a fit for my refrigerator, but the hex fitting is the wrong size for the hex shaft on my fridge that drives it. Had to return this, so I can't comment on whether it is durable.
