I found these Wagner pads to be good quality, and they worked as advertised wheninstalled on a Honda Accord. They also came with all the hardware needed to for installing which is an added bonus. In the past, pads purchased at a big retailer ( CT ) had the hardware as well, but in the last couple years, that was no longer the case, and those were made in China, and had gone up in price yet no longer had the hardware. These Wagner pads are made in Mexico, and will be the pads I will be using from now on.( I once had purchased a set of Brembo's at twice the price, and they did not work or last any better than the Wagners, at least in my experience )So for quality, price and convenience, I will be using these Wagner Pads from now on.

I put these on my 2010 Subaru Outback rear brakes. I took the time to clean the 11 year old brake calipers with wire brush and brake cleaner. I took slide pins out of the rubber boots and cleaned pins and rubber good and used Sil-glyde silicon grease to lubricate. After cleaning the caliper brackets and the head of the brake piston I lubricated the caliper bracket, new caliper bracket hardware, piston head, backs of new brake pads, and their ears with Permatex, Silicone Ceramic Extreme which is orange in color. These new brakes work great and I have absolutely no brake noise. These are going to work trouble free for years.

A lot of these reviews mention squeaking and other issues that fall solely on the installers. I installed these pads on my 2017 Forester with zero issues. Brake clips fit the caliper bracket perfectly. I put a light coating of CRC disc brake quiet on the clips, between the bracket and the clips, and on the back of the pads. Threw some AGS Sil-glyde (do not use regular grease as it can deform rubber) on the caliper pins after cleaning off the original grease too. After buttoning everything back up and torquing everything properly, I had actually less squealing (had a very very light squeal at low speed) than I originally did with the OEM pads. This is a good kit that provides you just about everything you need to do a proper brake pad change. Highly recommend you get the CRC and AGS greases though as they absolutely make all the difference in your brake job.

Not overly impressed, only one friction indicator for brake ware on one side should Be at least one per side so cheap they can't afford to put on both sides of the rear pads.

Good reviews, seem like quality pads. The retainer clips had too narrow a gap for the rotor thickness and rubbed and squealed. Ended up just using old clips after cleaning and lubing them. Stops fine, no noise, great value.

Edit 10/24/18: I put these Wagners on a Subaru Impreza late last November (2017) and on my Saab wagon a year prior and I love them. I don't drive much so the pads don't even show any wear on the Saab (I'm not a hard braker.) and I got a really good look at them putting on new calipers. When I rotated the Subaru tires I checked the pads, in the 11 months there is wear but at least 3/4 of the pads left (a LOT of driving and hard and high speed braking) . Noisy ??? Neither set on either car have never made a squeak. Years ago I did have pads "professionally" installed and they screeched like crazy. The mechanic had put them in backwards !!! Still love the stopping ability. Adding another star to 5.After significant research I went with the Wagners for a 2015 Subaru Impreza. (I do a lot of research on purchases, some times wayyyy too much . . .) I compared all the usual auto parts stores and brands and it came down to these Wagners for quality and wear, and a brand with a Japanese name (which seemed equally good.) I put ceramics on my Saab Wagon a year ago and love the stopping power. (Some warn about using ceramic for heavier vehicles like bigger trucks and SUV's so do the research.) 7 of the factory pads I replaced had 1/3rd the life left the 8th was worn past the metal that attaches the brake material on one side ! Yes, quite noisy. The job was straightforward once you figure out how to install the pads with the clips they come with, that was a pain but eliminates the need for brake lube. (The lube packet these come with are for the backs of the pads to eliminate squeaking.) You have to tap the clips into where the pads sit, like an insert. Use a wide, flat screwdriver or chisel to seat those clips in the corners so the pad "ears" will pop in with minimal force. It helps not to do it in 40 degree weather in a sleet squall . . . Several good Youtube vids on Subaru brakes. Driving the interstate in a blizzard with snow tires on that little Impreza tank made me glad I got to the brake job before winter. GREAT STOPPING POWER !!! Now to see about the wear . . . The driver is a jack rabbit . . .

Perfect fit. automatic improvement soon after install i could feel the difference. Coated so it won't rust and the shims fit perfectly.plus this product was half the price at the nearby auto shops. and that was for the regular organic ones.

Perfect fit in a 2010 Subaru Forester. Stupid quiet and wear is OEM at this point. I have tried replacement pads from several manufacturers, and this is by far the best I have ever used. Plus, with the rebate, I think they were $10! Whats not to like?
