Ceramic brake pads are usually very expensive but its nice to find them for a good price. The metallic pads cause a lot of brake dust and puts lots of wear on the rotors. The semi-metallic are a little better but the ceramic pads are the way to go.

My 2005 GMC Sierra was the recipient of these Wagner brake pads on the fron disc’s.* I want to mention the fact that the GMC 1500 2005 has two different brake sets that fit the trucks so it’s a good idea to make sure you get the right ones if you have drums like I have you use a different brake in the front the gifts that are on other 2005 front and back use a whole different brake pad set which has a different configuration so that’s one thing to keep in mind when ordering from Amazon as there is no differential in there order information.My problem was a little bit different even though I specified front brakes or break pads I think I got rears as I cross-referenced Wagner to one of the local auto parts stores and they also were sweet almost did the same thing as I had to specify not the October and Nexxt has like a round cut it fits or mounts totally different on the caliper. The box and the number actually had the correct looking brick on the cover of the box but when you open the box it was a totally different brake pad but that part was resolved and I just ordered a new set of the correct one yes Helen came as a open box at a reduced price but was still specified as a friend but I think that was a brake pads had been taken from her box and put in a front install box and that’s how I got goofed up that’s my idea of it anyway but the brakepads are very good quality..

These fit, tho only issue was clearance on one of the caliper brackets. I had to grind one of the squealers off to fit it in place on driver rear, but had same issue with front passenger, with a different brand of pad, but overall, they look decent. Time will tell how well they wear.

Great product. Low dust and quiet. Exactly what you want in brake pads. Loved that it included replacement hardware.I have to say, Wagner rebate offers seem to be a scam. I bought 2 qualifying sets of pads and didn't get the rebate on either. Lame bait and switch.Rebate was a complete waste of time and it took more than 15 minutes. Boo!

Fit like a glove. BTW! The Amazon ad says they are for the front but I pulled up the number on Wagner Brakes website and it called for the QC785 as my rear brake shoe part number so I was a little worried that there the wrong ones but they were in fact the correct rear brake pads for my 2003 GMC Sierra 2500hd 4x4 3/4 ton truck. They are super quite and my local parts store wanted $67.99 for these so I feel that Amazon did my right once again. Make sure you grease the back side of the pads with the grease from your local parts store. It's supposed to keep any squeaks from arriving.

This is a high quality OEM style ceramic brake pad (noted for quiet braking and very low dust), that includes the hardware (caliper bracket tins). Installed exactly per instructions, plus lubed caliper slides and brake pad tins where the pads sit. Fit like a glove, no install problems. Followed burnishing (break-in) procedure per instructions after install, not a squeak out of them, and of course stopped better after about a dozen 30 mph to 0 mph stops as they started breaking in..Smooth as silk braking. Installed with new Wagner E-Coat rotors as well, as a complete system. Did a brake fluid bleed and flush too. Recommend highly and zero complaints.

I replaced the front pads on my 2001 GMC Sierra several weeks ago with Wagner QC785 ThermoQuiet Ceramics and they fit perfectly and have performed well.I'm not sure why some others have experienced squealing maybe something pecular to the make of their vehicle or an installation issue?When you replace the pads you have to clean the calipers and replace the spring clips(they come with the pads).You should also make sure the caliper pistons are functioning properly. It is not uncommon to have a piston that is not moving freely.The rotors should also checked for wear and warping and replace or turn them if needed.
