I was only able to put together one of the two sconces that came because the included screws were not good and the hole that I needed to screw into wasn't properly made (I was trying to put the shelf on the wall backing, and the hole in the shelf was the one that was bad). I do like the look of them, and the one I have is ok.

The design of this shelf is sleek, modern and minimalist.The shelf is completely matte, black, metal (except for screw caps). I liked the design of the plastic screw covers, it’s a clever way to cover those ugly screws and really adds to the modern, high-end look. I am somewhat disappointed in the quality of the painted finish. It’s not terrible but I wished it could have been better and another thing that bothered me was after assembling and installing, I noticed a flaw. The threaded holes in the back plate (the ones that get attached to the wall) are not located properly. When it’s all put together, and the back plate is plum, the shelf is slightly off level (see photos).

These wall candle sconces are very attractive and add a touch of elegance to my space. I paired them with flameless flickering candles, and they look absolutely stunning, definitely a statement piece that draws attention.I do wish the base plate of the sconce was the same metal thickness as the candle holder piece. The difference makes the overall structure feel slightly less substantial than I’d like, this is a personal preference. Despite this, they are sturdy enough and still make a beautiful addition to my decor. If you’re looking for eye-catching sconces with a classic yet modern feel, these are a great choice!

These wall sconces are beautiful!Solid metal, and very simple and elegant.They come as two pieces, you have to screw the shelf onto the wall plate, but it is two screws and easy to do.They provide you with long screws and wall anchors to install them with along with covers for the screws, however I really did not want to mess with drilling and hate working with wall anchors so I used my own hanging fasteners. They really are not heavy enough to need anchors, unless you're planning on putting something really heavy on them. I used them with lightweight acrylic rechargeable candles so it was fine. The only thing is that the hangers I used were too large to work with the little black covers they provided, but that's on me, and I really don't mind the silver hangers showing.These are both uniform in size, the holes line up perfectly for screwing on the shelves and the shelves sit level, and the wall plates are not warped, they sit perfectly flat against the wall.Very well made, with no defects.These are really nice, I would highly recommend them for purchase.

Very clean design. The back plate against the wall creates a nice accent to lighter colored candles (which are pretty much 99% of candles), so it not only is functional, but looks great with minimal effort
