Comfortable and good quality shoe. Can walk in pretty much any environment, waterproof and feet stay dry.

I bought these thinking they were slip on’s!! In the photo that’s how they appear! However, they are of the lace up variety! The quality looks good but they aren’t what I wanted!

When i pulled these shoes out of the box i thought they were a little heavy by holding them, also i noticed the sole was pretty rigid so i imagined that these couldn't be exactly comfortable, but i was wrong.These shoes perform and look awesome. The heavy feeling disappeared as soon as i wore them and the sole didn't feel rigid at all, granted i am kind of new with this line of "hiking" shoes. Sure i've owned boots and leather hiking shoes that have been heavy as that's what their purpose is, to be able to withstand abuse, water, mud, rocks and sharp/rough edges, so my initial impressions were unfounded.I took these for a trail hike last weekend and my friend noticed them, about 2 weeks ago i wore regular sneakers and was having a hard time jumping rocks when they were wet as it was slippery and also since regular sneakers don't provide much protection to your feet i could feel every bump on the way, the difference here was day and night, i couldn't feel the grip on this shoes on rocks but they couldn't hurt me anymore.I walked over clean water with these and no water got into the shoe, so at least these are water-resistant, i didn't fully submerge them but at least walked over 2-3 inches of water and they didn't flood.Overall i think these look and perform amazing and the asking price is very reasonable for specialized shoes, the sole is thick and provides grip when needed and protection to your feet, easily recommended for trail walkers, not leaving home without these anytime i plan to go to any rough terrain!
