This brush is much simpler and less expensive than most on the market. Yet it performs better than any I've tried. Makes quick work of my shedding Great Dane.

We bought this brush for our short-hair dog after struggling to find a standard brush that worked for her. We used this one right after bathes while her fur was damp; a few minutes of brushing once a week drastically cut down on the amount of time spent managing the shedding. It removes loose hair faster than any other brush we tried. It's also significantly cheaper than many dog brushes on the market.The downsides: The comb looks kind of ugly, it isn't the most comfortable to hold due to the lack of flexibility, it's also a nightmare to clean fur out of, and it has a distinct rubber smell (like tires)Overall though it's more than functional and that's all I really care about.

I much prefer rubber to plastic curry’s so this was perfect. It did have a greasy residue that smelled weird. Washing it with some dawn got rid of the grease, I’m sure the smell will go away with some time. It’s a bit large to hold, but I do have small hands.

I absolutely love this kind of curry comb and this one was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Great size, very sturdy, easy to clean and gets the job done well. Will order again in case I lose mine haha.

I've tried so many different types of brushes - Furminator, you name it. None of those types of brushes worked for my dog's shedding until I read a review on a different site where the reviewer mentioned that those brushes were designed for dogs with an undercoat. My dog doesn't have an undercoat - it's the top coat that sheds. And I was on the lookout for a curry brush. I took a chance on this one coz it's so cheap. What's cool though is how well it works! I brush my dog and all the hair falls to the ground. After 3 days of brushing, the shedding has virtually disappeared!The brush is big (fills up my entire palm) and heavy-ish. It's tough rubber. My dog sometimes chews on it, and I see teeth marks on it, but hasn't damaged it even though she can be quite a heavy chewer.The only downside is it's quite smelly. I've had it for a few days now and it still smells. Hopefully it will dissipate soon.

It is a little large for my chihuahua and at first, she was intimidated. But it works better than any other brush I've used. I take her outside and brush her snout to tail, while a tornado of white fur spirals around us. She shakes it off, and back inside she goes, shedding percentage decreasing from 93% to 33% after just 1 brush. Continuous use and the shedding has made significant improvement. Great product!

I was really impressed with this item. The rubber looked like it might start to 'peel' in some spots but i have had it for two months now and nothing has happened. Great quality. Donkeys love it!
