Great product, don’t listen to the negative review about it hurting their fish, that’s because they kept 3 bala sharks (which alone need 125 gallons), common plecos(literally need I say more?), and a bunch of other fish in a 30 gal. Literally a ticking time bomb of ammonia poisoning via their own stupidity not the fault of the product. This is a great product especially if you keep snails and shrimp. My male betta is around 3 years old and ever since adding this to his 10 gal he is a lot more active and eats better for me. I even noticed his vision clearing up as he now has the vigor to catch his food whereas before he missed quite a lot.

My snails were looking sluggish and sad so I ordered these to see if they would help and oH my goD. They went from barely moving to flying around the tank and laying like 6 egg clusters a day!! They’re clearly very healthy and happy now so this is a great product.

I threw it in the tank and went to work, when I returned i couldn't find it anywhere.... I don't think the snails or fish ate it that fast, did it just dissolve? Also expensive for the size when I ordered large I expected LARGE

As always the wonder shell does it's job well. It keeps my water perfect for snails and catfish and does not require cleanup. My catfish love playing with the bubbles that come from it and I use the large shell to gently wipe the front glass as it picks up algae easily and prevents it from growing right back.

I keep one of these in my tank with shrimp and livebearers. I can’t say for sure that it’s a miracle but that tank is healthy and has no fish loss. The shrimp are alive and appear to multiply happily even in a fully stocked community tank. So, for me that means I’ll keep getting these. I’ve had a lot of trouble keeping shrimp alive in the past so I’m going to give this product some credit for keeping them happy.

These things are AMAZING! They clear the water, balance the PH level, keep the walls of the tank free of algea (for a while, wherever you rub the shell at, it cleans it and keeps it clean for about 5 days or so), and it made my snails SUPER active! I got them to add calcium to my fish tank for my apple (mystery) snails and I could clearly see where their shells started growing out more! My snails used to sleep all the time, until I got this and then all the sudden they came out all the time and started hanging out together and "snuggling" (aka mating). We order these every few weeks because we hate to run out! Once we did run out and after a few days, the snails started sleeping and being antisocial again!!!! So we ordered more, and then they were back out and being happy and cute! They last about 2 weeks or so -- the bigger ones last longer of course, but at the price, its definitely worth it!

I use Wonder Shells in all three of my freshwater aquariums. I have a 30 gallon tank with 2 palm-sized fancy goldfish, a 20 gallon community tank with a Betta male, neon tetras and cory catfish, and a 5 gallon with a solo Betta. Each tank has a few apple/mystery snails ranging from pea-sized to golf-ball sized. I like Wonder Shells because it does help keep the water crystal clear, especially in the goldfish tank (goldfish are very messy and excrete a lot of waste). I also like Wonder Shells because it's definitely made a difference in the strength, smoothness and beauty of my Apple/Mystery Snails' shells (no more pitted or cracked shells). I also have problems with brown and green algae on the aquarium walls. I take the Wonder Shell and rub it up and down the walls of the tanks and it removes the algae (without having to use a scrubber!) and makes the tank sparkle. I also noticed the algae grows more slowly with a Wonder Shell in the tank. The tank water also smells better; maybe because the algae is under control now? I really like the product and will continue to purchase it.
