This is the second handle I've gotten for my line trimmers. The first one was "ergonomic", but they definitely cheaped out on the handle. This version has a better "finished" look in every respect. The handle is more rounded, the tubing is larger, and the grip just feels better to me.This handle is slightly longer than my other one, at 17 inches. The difference in length of all of these types of handle is something to pay attention to. The longer the handle, the better the balance, or so it seems to me. While it seems like it'd just be simple to buy a shorter one and move it further down the shaft, that can't account for the better balance point of a longer handle, which really helps if you've got a long day of trimming ahead of you.The difference in shaft sizes of all the line trimmers in existence means that you MAY have to add some tape or rubber shims around yours to get this to grip and stay in place. It'd be nice if they had several different specific diameter shims, but I'd bet the cost would definitely go up. Speaking of cost, while this isn't AS comfortable as the originator of this add-on, this is easily 95+% as good, for half the price. I don't need the fancy paint job and I can forego the "ez clamp" - once this is in position, I don't think I've ever moved it, so the quick clamp of others isn't worth double the cost to me.I really like the design and quality of this version, and I wish this had been available when I first purchased my other handle. This is better in every way, and for just a few bucks more, the quality increase is apparent.

Finish is nice. I made the fit work with some longer bolts I had in the shop. Installation was easy enough but should probably list the maximum diameter shaft this will mount to and / or provide longer bolts. Its light weight and doesn't add much to the overall weight of the trimmer. Definitely a back saver and works well.

Took this out for a spin just the other day and was incredibly happy with how much easier it makes using the weedeater. I'm using it on an electric greenworks and it fit just fine. Installation was quick and easy. The bar is easy to adjust and swings out of the way without a problem. The grip is a lot more comfortable than what shipped with my trimmer and I honestly don't understand why they don't all come with something like this already attached. While I don't tend to have back problems when using my trimmer, the one thing I do end up with is achy and trembling hands afterwards, and I noticed a big reduction in that side effect after using this handle. Definitely a good addition to your trimmer.

Game changer definitely gas saved my back. Recommend for anyone that uses weed eaters on everyday usage or just around the house.

There are a lot of trimmer handles available to purchase but what struck me about this one was how sturdy it looks in the pictures. It’s all aluminum so it doesn’t weigh much at all. The mounting clamp fit perfectly on my Stihl FS45C shaft without needing any type of shim. It clamps down tight and secure. The handle is easily changed from right hand to left hand use simply by loosening the lever handle, slipping it out of the mount and reversing it. It also allows you to quickly loosen it and lay it flat for storage. I made a quick trip around the backyard to so some test trimming and I don’t know why I waited this long to get one of these, what a difference it makes in comfort.
