Well made and comfortable. This is an easy way to get more benefit from walking or running. I use mine when I walk my dogs around the block, and when I am using my incline treadmill. I was using previously a backpack with two 10 lbs. weights thrown in (AKA, "Rucking") but this professional solution better distributes the weight and is therefore much easier on my shoulders.I am 5'11 and around 195 lbs. I selected the 20 lb. option and it fits me, but I cannot adjust the straps in a manner that mimics the photos shown in the listing (buckles centered in the chest.) Instead, the top buckle is off skew and the bottom buckle skews all the way to the left. I had to use all the strap for the bottom buckle and most for the top buckle, which forces each buckle off to the side. Not a deal killer by any means, but it is less aesthetically appealing.Solid value at $60, less than your average monthly gym fee.

Day 1. You may thiink a 15 lb vest would do little to maintain a number of issues that literally drain the life out of seniors. When I hi 62 years old, things suddenly changed in my physical structure that was very disturbing for me, as I spent a good deal of my life staying out front of the average old fart. I never appreciated any competitive reason to obsess in my physical tone, but because I spent over 40 years to stay on top of plain old- no holds barred fitness, I knew the contrast in pain, endurance, breathing...everything. I quickly recognizedthe difference I felt when I compared sitting idle or after a day of hiking. As one gets into this final phase of living and dying, we quickly learn that our history from each day will make the following day a lot easier, if I could keep the exercise up without injury. When I saw this vest, I thought it might be an addition to staying above the thin line that placed me in a better tomorrow. From daily walks I saw even the lightest additions made a brighter,healthier day. It simply does not take much to put me in the misery that ruins...DESTROYS the next day. I want to enjoy the morning tea. I love to feel the warmth of the sun, instead of wincing from a headache from the sun being too bright. Enough of the moaning. You know what I am dealing with if you are between 60 and 65. To get moving without greasing the joints is often painful and discouraging. This vest is the best thing I have used to date that will keep a controlled exercise that is safer from making mistakes that ruin not just a day, but sometimes months. This vest supports my posture. This is the number 1 issue for people who must now exercise to remain healthy. The vest also balances extra weight that you will feel, but not before you gave your joints the slip and you increased your resistance measurably. This vest looks great wearing it, and with its reflectors, additional preparation is no longer time consuming. it has the reflectors for safety that will cut 20 minutes off of getting ready. It looks modern and is a quality product that you will never be snubbed for looking eccentric, even if I am eccentric. It is a passive exercise that will build your strength slowly and controllably, eliminating accidents that can close shop. Take my word for it. In the first week I went from feeling 75 back to feeling 55 and I am breathing better, with brighter visuals, and clearer thinking and visions. Remeber, we are a living thing. A sponge that absorbs our every action and can quickly ruin our health, costing ten times the exercise that can be downright miserable. With the quality, comfort, and strength of this superman set, I may start flying into Mickie Dee's with radar eyes. This is a very important part of your health and it will provide the support and additional strength to prevent hurting ones self. As a bonus, the vest looks professional to the point where you look "right" wearing it. It is a modern, good looking vest that nobody will look at and think you should be in a kiddie commercial.

Let me first start off saying that this is my first time using a weighted vest. I'm also a seasoned long-distance runner, and I go for 3 mile walks every day.When I opened this for the first time, it was apparent that the vest is high quality. It appears to be weighted with sand (or similar). When I put it on, I noticed that it was very comfortable, but it's also a little large for my frame. I have to have the buckles tightened up all the way. It's still a little loose, but not too bad. I took this vest out for my daily walk, and I immediately noticed the extra weight. My watch was also showing a higher heart rate than normal for the walk. During the entire time, I was never bothered by the vest from rubbing standpoint. I will say that I would never run with this vest because it would bounce around due to my size, and I think it would really impact my knees. I would suggest only using it for walks. It would also be great if you're training for a long-distance backpacking hike.Once I was done with my walk, I saw that I ended up burning an additional 50 calories more than if I wouldn't have had the vest. Not too bad. I didn't feel sore after using it either, but I'm well trained for long distances. If you're looking into a weighted vest, I think this one is a good place to start.

Wt ; 25 lb. This is a 25 lb weighted vest. It is surprisingly comfortable to wear, the weight settles comfortably on your back. I walk daily for 40 min - 2 miles over rolling terrain. I found that a tighter fit felt better, at first I had the straps a bit looser and the vest would shift slightly while walking which was uncimforta. The best does help your posture as it’s hard to slouch over while wearing it, I think how the weight settles on your back has a natural pull so elevating your breastbone ( for good posture) feels good. The extra weight makes a big difference and I had to ató several times after reaching the top of an incline to catch my breath. I typically don’t stop at all. My heat rate was higher, between 8-11 beats. I will say that my shoulders felt tired after wearing the vest for 40 minutes, I suppose that is something I will get acclimated to with continued use. I’m not sure if I could use this in the summer as it’s only in the 40’s where I am and I worked up a good sweat. I feel so light after taking the vest off, it makes me more determined to lose the 25 pounds I’ve been wanting to! The vest has small pockets for keys or ID. It so es with a case for your phone you can strap on your arm. I wear an I watch with cell capability so I don’t need that but it is included. I like it and would recommend to other women, especially for the easy way you can wear it , even if you just wore it around the house, as it will help put stress on your bones and help build bone density.
