Horrible chemical smell. Scary that you'd be wearing it on your skin and whatever chemical is on it will soak into your body.

After working out for all my 60 plus years, I never had a weighted vest of any kind. I own free weights and know my way around the gym equipment so having this vest caught me by surprise on how it definitely helps my workouts even more.It adds more resistance and helps me develop powerful motions with all the exercises I still do on a regular basis. Other benefits is that it helps with my posture. As I have entered the 60+ age group, keeping bone density is a must. This will help in that regard as well.When you first take out the vest, you might be alarmed as I was when I heard so many loose things falling back into the box. It was loose sand that must have been accidentally dispersed when it was being packed for shipment. The vest itself had no leaks and all the stitching was secure. Wearing this weighted vest is super comfortable and 10 pounds does not feel like much. After having it on all day going about your normal business, I sometimes forgot I had it on. The vest is suitable for both men and women. From what I can tell, once you order the specific weight, you are stuck with that weight as there are no pockets ar pouches to lessen or increase the weight.I believe this vest should be fine on jogs and regular exercise, but I will be keeping my eyes on sand leaks in the future.Nice fitting vest suitable for guys and gals - 4.5 Stars!

This 10lb weighted vest is solid. The vest by looking at it doesn’t seem like it would be that big of an impact on your body but the 10 pounds really makes a difference in your everyday movements. The vest is easy to put on, load your arms in one at a time and then click the front buckle closed and adjust the length until the vest feels snug. There is not other adjustments other than the front buckle. The vest seems to be made of some form of sand on the inside and all the seams are well stitched. I like that it comes with a detachable phone holder. It is a bit snug for my arm but it works as an arm band but it really fits for the vest strap itself. Using this vest during a run or just around the house has played a positive impact on my physical fitness, I feel it is constantly reminding me to sit up straight and to keep good posture. Overall this weighted vest is a great value and built well.

I've tried other weighted vests in the past and been generally unsatisfied. The fit was awkward, or they were too hot, or the weight wasn't distributed in a pleasant way. This vest? Totally different!I got the 10lb version. The fit and weight distribution is very comfortable for me, even though I'm a smaller person (5' 3"). The neoprene is very comfortable, and the cut-away design makes it the coolest (temperature-wise, but also in terms of style) weighted vest I've yet tried. The weight is "there" but otherwise I don't notice it (there's no shifting, clunking, ect).I'm athletic but kind of lazy, tbh. This vest makes it easy to include more weight-bearing training for endurance not just in my "real" training sessions, but also in my daily routine, while doing everyday activities like walking the dog or mowing the lawn. I would enthusiastically recommend this vest to others, particularly if they are on the smaller side. (I think it would work well for most people, even taller or more average-weight people, but YMMV there.)

Excited to incorporate this vest into my walks and jogging. The material is strong and the weight is equally balanced across the vest. It's easy to put on and take off. It pretty much stay put once you have it on and adjust to your comfort level. My only issue is the net packet on the back, I wish it has a zipper to keep my keys or anything else I put in there in place that way it doesn't fall off when jogging especially on hills. Overall this is a a good product, well made and I recommend

Heavier than you’d expect! It definitely gets my heart rate up while walking. 15 lb vest. I noticed ed a difference!
