I bought the Wild Harvest Treat Stick for my parakeet, and he absolutely loves it! The combination of rawhide and nutritious seed blend keeps him busy and engaged, which is great for his mental stimulation. The treat stick satisfies his chewing instincts while also promoting healthy activity. Plus, it’s formulated by veterinarians, so I know it’s safe and good for him. The rawhide center and the sunflower and safflower seeds are a hit! This is a great way to treat my bird to something both fun and nutritious. Highly recommend for small and medium birds!

We live in South Carolina and I'm sad to say that the birds were not interested in this at all. We have quite a variety of birds at our bird feeders, and we set this out and nobody was interested. Not even the squirrels tried to eat the seeds off of this.

I actually ordered this because we have a bird feeder in our backyard. Also, we have an 18 month old who loves watching the birds come by. We put this out and it has brought so many birds up close to our windows. They love it. I highly recommend!

This is a great treat that birds will love. It gives them something to do and they enjoy eating the seeds.

Got this and hung it up outside for the birds that hang out in our backyard. Hopefully this isn’t to bad for them considering its made for birds after all. They come and snack on it but they have not been addicted to it by any means. They do seem to enjoy it through.

With its candy cane like appearance, this makes for a cute Christmas present for birds. It actually isn’t getting gobbled up very quickly with my birds so I guess it will last a while. I’m not sure if it’s because they don’t like it or because it’s a little harder to get to than the birdseed that’s out in the open and not stuck to the cane.

I thought I would get this as a gift for my sister-in-law’s tropical birds but looking at the ingredients, I became skeptical when I saw there were dyes listed among what I assume are vitamin and mineral supplements. No bird needs dyes, so I feel like they are there to make this more appealing to humans. I changed my mind about giving it to my sister-in-law and put it in a cage feeder for my wild birds instead, expecting to bring it inside after a few minutes because it’s not healthy for their digestion for birds to have access to a sorghum stick continuously. It’s now been outside for two days and I’ve only seen two birds of different species land on the cage feeder and neither of them picked at the treat while I was watching, even when the other seed feeders were empty. Maybe it will catch on – I thought surely the woodpeckers would like it – but for now I’ll say this is a fail. Looking at the other reviews, I seem to be in the minority in my experience, so if I’m wrong about the dyes, please pardon my ignorance, but I still find it strange that my non-captive birds don’t seem to be at all interested.

I have wild birds and squirrels on my patio that I’ve been feeding for years and figured this might be a nice addition to the nuts and seeds I usually put out for them.I hung this treat stick up and the first day they didn’t show much interest, on day two it was an all out war zone and I had 15 birds fighting over it and on day 3 the squirrels fought over it, stole it, ran off with it and chewed on it in the yard. It’s safe to say that this is a delicious treat that animals of all sizes enjoy!
