Along with the Wintec reins, I purchased the Wintec bridle to match a Wintec saddle I'm borrowing. This bridle is synthetic, just like all Wintec tack. It looks just like leather, except I miss that lovely leather smell. The bridle was easy to put on & was a perfect fit. My Quarter horse, Gypsy looks beautiful in her new tack & the saddle. All Wintec tack is easy to clean. You can pretty much hose it down. I would purchase Wintec again & I'm so glad Amazon carries it. Thank you Amazon!

It works great and it is really nice to not have to deal with leather, but the browband seems a bit short which causes the cheek straps to rest kind of close to my mare's eyes.

A headstall is an item that does not come with reins, while a bridle is a headstall WITH reins, so I was expecting them as part of the purchase.

For the money, this bridle is better than you'll ever get for the same money (or more) in a leather bridle. It feels like leather, but it's washable and easier to clean and maintain.
