If a small splicing connector is helping keep things cool, then the 221 must be behind it all. Their simple, ergonomic design and global approvals have convinced the American cooling technology manufacturer True Manufacturing to install them in their devices. You can open splicing connectors easily and quickly. Opening the levers on the 221 Series takes very little effort. This means you can connect conductors quickly – and without any tools! While you are connecting the conductor, recessed handles on the sides ensure an easy, secure grip on the connector. Quickly and easily connect all conductor types of different cross sections using two-, three-, five, and inline splicing wire connectors.

SPECIFICATIONS:
- 221 series wiring connectors are 40% smaller than the 222 series
- The lever nuts that are 412, 413, and 415 accommodate stranded wires from 0.14 to 4 mm², as well as solid and fine-stranded wires from 0.2 to 4 mm² (24–12 AWG). 221-2401 accommodates from 20-12 AWG.
- Ratings up to 32 A/450 V and 105°C maximum continuous operating temperature allow the 221 Series Splicing Connectors to be used at ambient temperatures up to 85 °C (T85)
- Approvals like ENEC or UL allow them to be used in worldwide applications.
- You can now test the voltage from two different sides – even when they are installed.

The Wago 221 lever connectors pack here is great. There is a lot of variety including the in-line pieces. They are very easy to use to connect multiple wires together and are generally much easier and safer to use than wire nuts.Some people claim that these cause wires to get hotter than wire nuts, and researching this, it is true, but the wire and the connectors are still well within their working range, and do not pose a risk.

There are similar push-in connectors available. What I like with these ones is that you have this little lever to hold the wire, but also makes it easy to open and reseat if needed. If you got multiple wires in one connector, you can remove just the one you need. Very simple. On top, they safe some space in the box as they are really flat.

These wago wire connectors are so much easier to use than regular wire nuts, all you need to do is strip the wire back to the correct length and lift up the lever insert the wire and close the lever. No more twisting the wire together. For my application these connector worked perfect. The connections were tight and secure. The connectors are also re-useable

Takes up less room in the box, super easy and fast. After a few hours of twisting the traditional caps, my fingers feel raw. This is a good upgrade even though they are expensive. There are a few cases were these are necessary such as a really tight box. Other than that, the traditional caps work fine. If you have the cash, go for it.

I've been stuck in the past too long using wire nuts. These connectors work, locking in the wire and especially wires of different sizes and stranded with non is just perfect. Love the transparent side where you can see the wire is clearly inserted all the way. No more guessing or hoping that you had enough wire twisted into a nut to hold it forever. With a nut when you bring together 5 conductors of different gauges you can be sure you will have a small wire come free on your first attempt. With this every thime perfect. Big time saver.

These things are great, I am a DIYer and prefer to do my own wiring if I'm able to. These things are great because if you are doing things, you don't have to worry about wire nuts and messed up connections. These things are sturdy, reliable, and best part is just like a wire nut you can easily undo it and make changes. It is also awesome when you have to make pigtails.

Would prefer fewer single wire connectors but I knew the quantity when I ordered them. Anyway, super easy to use and stuff back in the box saving room in smaller switch boxes. Especially for some of the newer wifi switches and dimmers. Never have a wire nut come off again whether by accident or using the wrong size.
