The product is amazing and the features are awesome..BUTset up on Android not the most intuitive and also few issues getting Android Auto started as the manual did not guide much.However, simple fact they forgot to mention in the manual, where touch screen is supported please use it to navigate and enter details that will save a lot of frustration using the Knob or buttons in the car. Android Auto shows under a different Icon to initiate connection and took me some time to find.I have tried 3 other products and too me hours to even link to my car and phone where needed. This just came on immediately just manual was a bit disappointing.Best value for what is out there and responsive. Will try to post a Video when I get a chance to recordThis is working on a Mazda CX9 pre 2019 model

Got this to keep us entertained on a long road trip. It’s nice when it works but really irritated when we have to keep reconnecting to our hotspot. There are times when the screen blacks out, and have to unplug to reconnect. Also not sure if it even has gps but definitely a bummer when you need to use gps and not be able to see it on your screen. I feel that for the price I paid it shouldn’t have all these other issues honestly.

Update: Support reached out to me again and offered complete support for my issues. They provided further instructions to update the software on the AiBox. Once I installed the software, it included the Play store and that finally allowed me to install any apps. This way, I was able to install Chrome, Prime Video etc.I'm still testing out the Android Auto functionality but support has been pretty good and I feel confident in updating my review based on it. I will update again based on further testing.Original:Once you play a video using this, it seems okay. But the overall android experience is a little sluggish, you cannot install any apps on it unlike advertised... There is no Play store or any other app store. The only supported video apps are YouTube, Netflix, and Disney. That's it, that's all you get.The other issue that I was having was with Android auto. First the GPS is not as accurate and takes a little bit more time compared to when my phone is connected directly to my cars Android auto. Second the microphone doesn't work at all. It works with less than half accuracy, again compared to when my phone is connected directly to the car's Android auto.I was having to revert to using the video apps on the AI box and Android auto directly with the car. I got tired of switching between them and ended up returning it. I did contact support before I did so, they were responsive and sent me an update package for the AI box but I was unable to install it.

Edit*So after a few days of using it. I found the screen would go black, and i would have to unplug and plug it back again. It was happening way too often. Its causing me to lose concentration from driving trying to get the map back up and running.Changed from 3 star to 1. Terrible product, do not buy for your own safety.Original*So I'm connected to my phone through android auto, but once I use the Anyfar OS, I need to be connected to a wifi signal. So when I turn on the Wifi on the device, it shuts off its bluetooth, disconnecting android auto.Basically, if I wanted to watch netflix or whatever, I would have to connect to the hotspot everytime. and when I wanna drive and use android auto, i would have to disconnect the wifi, go into the settings, turn on bluetooth, open up the android auto/ apple carplay app, go into my phone, connect to the bluetooth wait for it to connect. then open up maps.there is no real point for the anyfar OS at this point. im better off just not using the OS.Up side, why I gave it 3 stars and not one is. I have a 2021 toyota highlander. turning the android auto wireless is great. Turning the car on, turns on the device and loads up android auto app and connects to the bluetooth automatically. It takes a bit more than 10 seconds, but beats having to connect the wire everytime and wait for android auto to load up. Almost the same amount of time to boot up android auto.Also the highlander has this problem where if i turn the volume knob while im watching youtube, it would automatically stop the video and plays the last music app you were using.now, if i wanna turn up the volume while watching youtube, it doesnt stop my video.Also, video volume is a lot lower than music volume on the highlander, this device solves that issues.now i don't have to crank the volume up so hear my videos.Again, 3 out of 10, because I basically paid for half a device, but impressed how it solved some gripes I have for the 2021 highlander.

I've tried them all. From half the price to double the price.This thing works flawlessly. For the price you won't get a better one. I use alpine deck with Android auto. This thing transformed my ride.

Having a car that requires wired Android Auto or Apple CarPlay can be a real hassle. However, this Android Auto Adapter has completely changed that for me. It’s incredibly easy to use. The setup was as simple as plugging it into my car’s USB port, pairing it via Bluetooth, and letting it connect. After the first time, it connects automatically every time I start the car.Note that your car must already have wired CarPlay functionality for this adapter to work, and the device only supports the App Store. If you only have wired Android Auto, it will not work.The connection has been rock-solid. I haven’t experienced any noticeable lag while using maps, streaming music, or making calls. The device itself is small and lightweight, fitting almost invisibly in my center console.One standout feature is the ability to stream video content, which is fantastic when you’re parked or not driving. If you’re tired of dealing with cables and want a reliable wireless solution, I highly recommend this adapter if you are an Apple user.

I bought this for a road trip with my family. It worked well. I recommended downloading movies to the device before your trip. By doing this, you do not need to be connected to WiFi. If you do not download ahead of time, you need to be connected to WiFi to stream videos. We downloaded form Disney, Netflix, and prime. It was a great purchase!

First of all, customer service is excellent. However, the unit did not work for my 2016 VW Golf which caused the system to reboot constantly about every 15 minutes. I did want this unit to work badly and contact the customer care to troubleshoot which they were very responsive and professional but in the end we could not make it work.

This is very user friendly and hooked up quickly to my phone. I like that it can be used in multiple vehicles if needed and will work in any vehicle that doesn’t have CarPlay. Great for older vehicles.
