This was a great solution for our multi-story building for many months. That was until the alarm started going off for no reason. We replaced the batteries as we thought that may be the issue, and for a day the chime only went off when the door was opened. Now it continues to go off several times (4 times in the past 3 hours just today) when no door has been opened. Really disappointed as this was purchased to make me and my team feel safer in our building and it has instead added levels of anxiety to our day. We are looking for a replacement but this seems to be an inherent flaw with all products of this nature.

I install this in my office so it would know when people were coming in and out of the lobby. It was nice that it had two sensors that would work with the same unit because we had a back door he wanted to monitor also. We were not able to get it set up to work with different chimes at the front and back door. It worked for a few weeks at the front door and then it stopped working all the time and would work intermittently It stopped working completely the day after the return window closed. The base unit also would only have either a siren or a single song to select from instead of the initial multiple sounds and songs that you could select from. It was also very difficult to install and get it aligned right on a commercial metal frame door-although we were able to eventually get it to work. It appears that replacing the batteries on the unit would be difficult once it was installed and you would have to pull it down thus requiring replacing the double sided tape to reinstall it. I would have sent it back if my return window did not close now I’ll just be sending it to the trashcan

Bought this to know if someone was coming in the house during the night. It works great and is super easy to install. There are a few options for the noise it makes and you can control volume but it's basically loud or soft no in-between.
