I don’t have an NS, or any dedicated gaming system. And I’ve never really been into gaming. But a year (or more) ago, I noticed that my Amazon Firestick offered games (Amazon “Luna” app). After skipping over that feature for a while, I realized that I might occasionally want to try/play games, and I’d need a game controller to do so. The Firestick has a section to add controllers…”Luna” designed (WiFi) ones…and also Bluetooth ones.So I started looking at controllers. Apparently, many dedicated game systems controllers use Bluetooth for connection to the head unit; and also most use USB-C (currently) for charging…and also USB for wired connection to MS Windows….though apparently different profiles/protocols among the systems. So there might be some propriety among systems, I’m generally unknowledgeable on this, but I really appreciate the game industry, at least generally, uses a common (BT) standard…as one controller can/might be able to be used among multiple systems. This one is branded and styled as an NS controller, and showed up on Amazon Vine, so I ordered it. At this point, I’ve ordered a few controllers.About (what I can attest) for this controller:- I’m no gamer but I’ve played games occasionally, and this controller feels as good as any I’ve held/used. Ergonomic size/shape/feel, smooth edges, crisp buttons, tactile analog levers/joysticks, very responsive, etc.- The controller has an 800mAh battery, which seems adequate, especially since you can use the controller while it’s charging, but many controllers have higher capacity batteries- This controller connects to my 2nd Gen Firestick via Bluetooth (with all but the IOS button, though the button mapping is off with the NS option), but it did not work initially on Firestick as a game controller. I was able to play Luna games with this controller, but there is one glitch that I noticed. The controller works fine for a few minutes…but then starts to have a 1-2 second lag (sticks and buttons)…essentially rendering the controller unusable…and I tested this a few times on the various mode-switch settings. Perhaps this controller work better with other game systems, but I don’t recommend it for FireOS/Luna.- I was also able to BT connect with this controller to my Android 11 phone. (No games played/tested).- And I was also able to BT connect/navigate with this controller to my (10 year old) Windows 10 laptop. USB and BT both test fine with and online tester. I haven’t played any games on PC so I can’t comment on lag.- Perhaps it works with NS, but the rumble pack doesn’t appear to work with any of the (non-gaming-dedicated) systems I connected/used. I just can’t comment on that function. Nor can I comment on any advanced configurations or connection-to/use-with IOS, NS, or any other game system.Bottom Line:The controller feels and functions well…but I experienced some lag with use on Luna.

I don't particularly love nor hate this product. It has some good features offset by some glaring flaws that makes it hard to use in a PC gaming environment. I got this product to replace my wired Xbox compatible PC game pad which started to act wonky with stick drift. The first awesome thing about this product is the Bluetooth connectivity. I didn't need a 2.4Ghz USB receiver, just connecting it via Bluetooth was easy. The controller feels good in the hands, and it have a solid build even though it is reasonably light weight.I'm can't say I'm particularly a fan of the RGB lighting as it will just drain the battery faster, I wish there was a single touch function to turn it off instead of cycling through a bunch of different preset lighting options. The RGB lighting also make the controller feel warm in your hands, like other RGB controllers I have tried. If you suffer from sweaty palms, this isn't going to make it any better. The face buttons have good tactile feedback and seems to be fairly responsive in games. Where the bad comes in, it seems to be very hypersensitive in game menus making it hard to navigate the game within the menus. The button layout matches that of an Xbox controller, but the labelling is different, so you have to keep that in mind when button prompt shows up on the screen and just go off muscle memory of the Xbox controller. Another double edge sword of this controller having to do with the face buttons, is that it immediately works like a mouse, so you can navigate your desktop using it as an input device. You push down on the left thumb stick and an on-screen keyboard will popup. This seems great until you play some games where you try to push down on the left thumb stick to run, and the onscreen keyboard will just pop up and block your view of the game. I'm not sure if the game is true full screen or borderless window mode, as that would make sense why it does keyboard does that. However, ever game does not give you the option to go dedicated of exclusive full screen. So, the controller has a lot of quirks that keeps me from properly enjoying it in a PC gaming environment. I hope I can figure out a way about the intrusive on-screen keyboard, hypersensitivity in the menus with the thumb stick while somehow not properly registering the face button to confirm selection on the menu. Those are a few of the issues that hinders enjoyment of this product that I'm trying to get around.**Update 08-31-24**After wrestling with the quirks, I've described in my earlier review; I was contacted by customer service and given instructions on how to reset the controller. Now I was able to get through a game without onscreen keyboard taking over within a game when pushing on the left thumb stick. The analog thumb stick was also no longer hypersensitive allowing me the opportunity to line up my cursor when using the free look in game. I've added two more stars as customer service was able to help me through my issue with the product.

This gaming controller replaced a wired one on my gaming laptop. It connected via Bluetooth flawlessly, which is very convenient. It is very responsive with the slightest movements. The lights are just eye-candy and a nice touch, but I could have done without them. Perhaps they contribute to the battery life, so it would have been nice to be able to turn them off. All-in-all, a fine game controller!

It's decent for a controller. It holds in your hands well and has a lot of vibration feedback relative to the xbox controller. However, it does slack sometimes when I'm trying to connect it to my steam deck. I have to put in effort to figure out why it's not connecting rather than just turning it on and it auto-connecting.
