Wiseco is usually my safe bet for top end kits, but this one doesn’t even come with rings. For the price and to be considered an actual top end kit, one would think it would come with rings. I returned my first kit thinking it was just a left out item, but the next one came the same way. There are other kits off of amazon that include the whole top end job for less.

A lot of people complain about using forged pistons in a 2 stroke cycle engine however, if you machine the cylinder appropriately, they work very well. Allow the engine to warm up to operating temperatures before you hammer that throttle and you'll be just fine. This is a fantastic little plug and I would definitely buy it again when this top end is in need again.

Great kit, went in quickly and without issue. My son and I put it in his KX85 in about 2 hours. Great quality and will purchase another Wiseco product when it's time!
