Hooray! Actually works as advertised. However, one item NOT mentioned is the need for yet another adapter plug to connect the "C" cable (smaller one than most phones use) from the pump to the household socket to recharge the onboard battery. Surprise! It is possible, if you have any 45W (the common type) power cord that connects your device (laptop e.g.) to the socket, to put that C end directly into the pump to charge it. Worked fine for mine!Yes, it does work directly from the included cable connecting the dash power socket (ciggie lighter?) to the pump.

This is a big air compressor and is more that the average bear needs however, if you have trucks, farm vehicles, offroad vehicles and such, this is a very useful tool to have around or keep in your vehicle. There are numerous features so I will provide my pros/cons from my testingPROS:• The battery is huge 12,000mAh• Double cylinder produces more air• Intuitive controls (except for the light)• Huge battery to charge cell phones• Beautiful unit• Charging was close to what was advertise as I ran it down to one bar and it took about an hour to fully recharge. Note there is an official WOLFBOX charger but I just used a laptop charger• Extra length on the air hose is beneficial, especially on larger tires (my tractor) or hard to reach valve stems (dual disc brake motorcycle wheels• Great for replacing air on off road vehicle tires when lowering the pressure for rock and log climbing. The battery will last for all four tires. Which is great if you have a side-by-side that runs a 48V system.• Comes with USB-C charging cable• Manual is surprisingly helpful• The unit will shut off when the pressure is reached so you don’t have to stay and watch it• The built-in light is helpful since tires like to go flat in the dark and saves digging out your flashlight that you wished you had replaced the batteries.• Displays pressures in- PSI – US (pounds per square inch)- BAR – Scuba, Europe (1 BAR = 1 atmosphere)- Kg/cm2 – engineering pressure- kPa – meteorology, engineering pressureCONS:• It gets hot… It will shut off after 15-20 minutes of continuous use to cool off (prolly a good feature)• It works on 12V only (a unit in this price range should be able to input multiple voltages)• The 12V car charger does NOT charge the battery, just allows the pump to keep running• PSI adjustment is easy, tape the + or – for 1/10 PSI increments, hold it down for 1 PSI increments• The light ON/OFF isn’t intuitive, you must hold the PSI button downThis is a very nice tool and certainly a nice addition to your arsenal of things to keep your vehicles running. The PROS well outweigh the CONS but I am deducting one star for the price and only having 12V input on the car charger.Four stars for me
