These are not hats. They are tubes. It is sown so that the top edge spirals closed but it is not held in place so comes unqdone and is more loosely "closed" after you wash it. Will have hole on tip of "hat" when wearing even though slouchy. Suggest stitching it in place before washing. Veryd isappointed by this issue. Otherwise would have been great.

I lost my hair from chemo, and I was delighted to come up with some easy, no fuss, and attractive looks with these beanies.The quality is excellent. It fits well on my 21" circumference head and could easily stretch a few more inches. The material is soft poly knit, and it's reversible. There's enough length to give this the perfect slouchy beanie look, and the closure seams are clean and well sewn.I gave this 4 stars because of the difference between the actual colors of the 3 beanies compared to promotional photos. The beanies are much brighter, almost garish. However because this is reversible, I played around with flipping up and over the inside an inch or two, which gave a nice contrast. I also wrapped a solid wired fabric headband (also on Amazon) which complemented the beanie nicely (and by twisting the headband at the nape, it gave a little dimension to the look).

Cancer sucks, period. I stumbled on these beanies after purchasing countless “solutions” that were not. I tried the baseball caps, the fake bangs, the stretchy doo rags, the goofy scarves, and “SO not me” turbans. We were finally coming out of 105 degree days here in Texas, I was completely bald and the weather was starting to cool down - in Texas, that means a temp drop swing of 40 degrees in one 24 hour period…and my naked head was getting cold. I hunted on Amazon for days and saw these. I always thought the “snood” style looked kinda silly but hey, I had tried everything else…not gonna lie, the elephants got me, so I ordered the two pack.These are awesome! They are sooo soft, they have great coverage on your neck and coverage can be adjusted by folding the edge of cap up. This is great for back of neck because you can adjust to help keep that icy air out. And the baggy “snood” part that I thought was goofy? It makes it look like you actually have hair tucked in there! Who knew?They wash beautifully, don’t pill and stay silky soft. I pray that none of my family or friends ever have to go through this, but if they do…this would be my first gift to them…
