I bought this bag because my old purse was falling apart. I like to buy purses/bags that will last, so I was searching for something sturdy but a reasonable price. I have chronic health issues, so I also needed something that was large enough to carry meds, a notepad, my phone, wallet, and bottle water. I came across waxed canvas bags on Etsy and loved the style, but they were a outside my budget. My Amazon search for waxed canvas bags brought me to this wonderful purse.I bought this bag at the end of January. I’ve used it daily for everyday trips, ER visits, doctors appts, beach trips, and trips to my fiancé’s house, and it seems to be holding up really well two months in. I love all of the interior pockets and that it has a zip-top closure. It also doesn’t fall off of my shoulder as other purses have. I don’t think the phone pocket is large enough for the iPhone 11, but there are so many other options, that’s not a dealbreaker for me.

I was looking for a bag that can hold my laptop or tablets if needed, that is water resistant enough for walking in Portland, OR's rainy season, and yet is a non-plastic material.This bag cover all of these aspects and more. In addition to keeping it's form through out the day, being large enough to hold a 13" macbook air, an iPad 12.9" pro, an iPad Air, and an iPad Mini (though not much more at that stage) it works brilliantly. The zipper keeps wandering hands from creeping in, the straps are the perfect height to utilize the front pocket for my phone and not poke out.Even when I'm not lugging tech to the court house, this bag works brilliantly for outings in the evening with friends, when it's space works great to hold a light jacket or scarf while I'm wandering.

It’s a really nice bag. My only issue with is was the zipper broke within a month. Then after a year the metal tab that kept zipper connected came off. So it started unraveling and would never zip up again. So it’s good for a cheap buy. If you need an emergency spare bag. It’s good for that. Also it holds a lot of stuff. A lot a lot. It’s a good bag. Just watch out of the zippers. If you can sew maybe you can replace the zipper.
