Very slow drilling. Do not work well. By the time it reaches the countersink portion, the wood is smoking like a chimney. Not sharp at all.

This pack of #6 (9/64"), #8 (11/64"), and #10 (3/16") countersink bits will come in handy as they seem to be solidly made and come with 3 sizes. They are larger than what one may need for the most common screws but I will be keeping them close nonetheless. I like the tapered bits so I can get a good start without any walking. They drill fast and clean. Nice product!

As I said above, they do what they were built to do.

My old way of making a countersink was getting a larger drill bit to chase my first hole with. Combining the two steps into one is nice! Also, its useful that you can set the depth with the countersink bit if you need to control the depth for your screw length. I'm not drilling in any hard or exotic woods, so this bit has been sharp and fine for me!

The drill bits description shows #6 (9/64"), 8 (11/64"), #10 (3/16"), which doesn't make sense because a 9/64 drill bit would be way too big for a pilot hole for a #6 wood screw. The countersink portion is the same size diameter on all three bits = 3/8", so I really only needed one because I won't use them to drill the pilot hole. I only used the countersink portion by using the included allen wrench to raise the drill bit so just a tiny point was sticking out to align it with the pilot hole I had already drilled. It works very slowly, even in soft pine, it took forever.

As a DIYer, a lot of the work I do is rough carpentry with flat head deck and construction screws that I just drive into the wood. But occasionally, I am doing something that will be more visible and being able to countersink the screw heads is a nice touch. The SENDRILL Wood Countersink Drill Bit Set is the perfect addition to my bit collection. The #6, #8 and #10 sizes are the most popular sizes I use and will cover more than 90% of my projects. The countersink cutters have a nice edge and leave a clean hole for the screw head. The cutter is held in place with two setscrews so there is little chance of it moving once you lock it in place with the included hex key.The tapered drill bit will help prevent splitting when drilling into thinner wood or board edges. The bits have a standard 1/4" shank so it can be used in either a drill or impact driver. I also like that the drill bit size is stamped on the shaft in case you ever need to replace a broken bit. No need to guess the correct size.Time will tell how durable these bits are but for the price, they are perfect for my needs.

This wood countersink drill bit set works nicely. The bits are easily adjustable and provide clean, precise countersinks. They are durable and hold up well under moderate use. The set is easy to use, and the sharpness of the bits allows for effortless drilling without splintering. Overall, very happy with them.
