I was sad to open up this package to find the yarn holder I recover was not what is pictured or described... mine was brown, had a super sharp point at the ball holder and was extra thick making it unusable for holding yarn... sent back :(

I gave this rating because mine has a quality issue. There was a staple or metal piece that was tearing up the yarn. I had to have my son take it out and smooth it before I could use it again. Please do a quality check before shipping them out.

I am very happy with this wooden yarn holder. At first when I started using it, I pulled the yarn too quickly and it then gets between the base and the twirly bit. I have now mastered it - just a gentle pull and it works perfectly. It is much easier than having the ball of yarn bouncing about on the table and then having to keep unwinding the yarn as you knit. A very useful item for all knitters.

Mein Hobby ist Häkel und Stricken in allen Variationen und aus dem Grund habe ich diesen Wollhalter auch bestellt. Ich war zwar etwas skeptisch ob es funktioniert, hab mich dann aber für die Bestellung entschieden. Hätte ich gewusst wie gut dieser Wollhalter funktioniert und auch Zeit einsparen hilft, dann hätte ich mich schon viel früher dazu entschieden ihn zu bestellen. Bei der bisher verwendeten Wolle war der Halter standfest und die Knäuel ließen sich ganz prima und geschmeidig abrollen. Für meine Bedürfnisse ist der Halter genau richtig und ich bin froh, dass ich mich für die Bestellung bzw. den Kauf entschieden habe. Super tolles Gerät!
