The wood is fake wood. Everything in the set is super light as if made of foam with a fake wood coating. Good value but poor quality. Immediately returned it!

When it comes to dispensing condiments I seem to always have issues getting the stuff out of the original dispenser. I have noticed this annoyance recently with seasonings such as fish seasoning. As I was shaking the tin repetitiously I began to think it would be great to have a container with the spice/seasoning in it with a serving spoon. I then though that if I were to find this kind of serving container it should look like a traditional accessory that will match my kitchen theme.I am very happy to say I have found just what I was looking for with this three container set from the Luvitory brand, with serving spoons as well as an accompanying wooden base/serving platform that also works as a display stand.When it comes to presentation when you are serving guests I will take a wooden bowl or container/serving accessory any day over a plastic or metal variation.I like the size of these which makes them about double the size of a traditional remiken. I like how the three containers are meant to be together on the stand which keeps a semblance of order rather than having loose containers all over the table requiring multiple people to pass it around rather than having what you need right there together. I like how the serving spoons are small which is preferable for me when dealing with powder based seasonings such as the seafood kind I placed in one of the three. You can become creative and use these at a home bar for margarita salt and spices.In conclusion I am happy with this set and recommend it. This is one of those items I will be optioning ordering three more.
