Get better straps, the ropes are fine but, I don’t really trust the straps too much. Definitely scared to use the straps they supply on the highway…

Didn't scratch my car it's fairly easy to use came in handy several times held my kayak during highway speeds. As with anything your got tied down you do need to stop after a little while and recheck the straps cuz they can loosen but that's normal of any strapping system

They are super easy to use and work perfectly on all our vehicles. We have SUPs and teens. Different vehicles being used depending on who is going out on the lake. These are perfect and so practical.

Bought these to carry kayak on our Toyota Prius, which is towed behind our motorhome. They work really well for the stated purpose, have stayed tight and seems like they will last. My only complaint it that the straps are slightly too short, and I have to use pliers to crank them down tight. Once on they hold well though. If I had one more foot it would eliminate the issue. Was a little difficult to figure out how to install at first, but I have it down now. Good value.

i use this for my kayak. It's very sturdy, lightweight , and does not give any dents in the car. takes me 2 seconds to put it on the car. I bought the extra straps, and they definitely work to have extra support. wonderful product.

Works perfectly. Only downside is the straps hang inside the car where my head needs to be while driving and where passengers sit In the back seat too. Not something I can leave on the car all the time but it is easy to put on and off
