Hand hammered, lathed, and highly polished. Wuhan cymbals don't try to challenge the more expensive, premier cymbals, but you won't find a better cymbal for quality and affordability.

I needed a good crash cymbal for church and this was the ticket! It has a great sound without killing it! Great addition to my new Pearl set that came with weak cymbals. Now to purchase Wuhan hi hat and ride cymbals!

This crash sounds awesome, I was very surprised by the sound. Clean, crisp with just the right sustain. It hold up well and can hold it's own against my Zildjians. It can also take a hard hit like a champion....I am very impressed by Wuhan cymbals, I now own 3. I recommend giving Wuhan a try.

What can I say, Wuhan does it once again, this is a great cymbal with a great sound at a great price, worked very well to round out the sounds of my Wuhan 16" and 18", this cymbal has a very warm crystal clear professional big sound, stacked a Wuhan 10" on top of it with a 6" stacker and it is amazing addition to my Wuhan set up. Cymbal is also good for a small ride too, bell has a great zyldgian type of sound to it, Wuhans are great cymbals for the money, outstanding purchase, best cymbals in the price range.

Damn I love this little fella, loud, crisp, high frequencies, no gong sound. Shimmery and awesome. Holds up to some solid strikes do to its forgivable thin nature. Price on these are redonkulous!

Initially, was looking at purchasing the 18" crash for my son, after he broke through a vintage Zildjian crash (it was a great cymbal, it just wasn't made for a hard hitter). He ended up wanting the 14" version, so this is what we bought. At this price ($40), I stopped worrying about what happens if he snaps through it in the first week. So far this cymbal is holding up good, and has a great sound clarity. As with all musical gear, I always recommend you go play/listen to it first, in real life. Everyone is looking for something different in sound, and listening to wav files over the internet, the sound will not reproduce to the level you are expecting (although Wuhan's site does have audio for just about all of their cymbals). This is definitely a value buy though, hopefully we get a year out of this cymbal. If/when he breaks through it, I will update this review.**UPDATE** A little over 4 years later, this cymbal is still holding up great. The kit it belongs to isn't played as much now, as it once was, but it still gets attention.

After playing Zildjian cymbals for over 30 years, they were getting too expensive to replace. I play hard rock and am kind of a heavy hitter. Bought me a Wuhan 20" china and fell in love. Tried their crashes and even better. I use 2 16", 1 18 " and 1 14" Wuhan and I love the sound !! Very durable and inexpensive to replace.
