I daily carry this light with my Arkfeld Pro. Tail switch is great, You can half press it to turn the light on. No issues with the clip. I have dropped and beat it up quite a bit. Flashlight does get a little hot if you keep it in turbo mode. Otherwise it's the perfect pocket flashlight. Little bit on the larger size, but has a great battery life in return, and plenty of brightness.Edit: after about a year later the light has randomly just stopped working. Where I have to take it apart and put it back together in order for it to realize that the battery is not dead. I have tried charging it in the light and with a separate charger the same result. Ended up adding some solder for better conductivity near the base of the light and that seem to have helped.

Tactical Lights – High output spot beam – good for outdoors – bad for automotive or industrial repair inspections. The FC12 is a great value for dollar light and compares similarly in output to the Olight Warrior S3. This is a budget tactical light and as such has to make some compromises.Wurkkos FC12 – Best buy ~ $40 (2000 advertised Lumens)Decent build quality, same size as the Olight Warrior 3S. A little skinnier. Uses a standard 3000mAh 18650 rechargeable battery. Very narrow spot light beam pattern, about as bright as the Olight W3S but the spot light is tighter. They both throw the beam very far and about the same distance. The Olight has a nicer more consistent pattern that is more usable in different situations. The FC12 has a good pocket clip and USB-C charging. Simple programmable user interface (UI), battery level indicator is green for >70% charge for 5 sec when you turn it on. I chose the grey color and I really like it, looks more like titanium.Con: Tail switch must be used for on/off and side switch only selects light levels. This is a little clunky but not a deal breaker. The Olight WS3 can use either button. No magnetic tail and difficult to tail stand on the FC12.Olight Warrior 3S – Premium tactical light ~ $120 (2300 Lumens)High build quality. Extremely bright on turbo. Spot light beam pattern only, very uniform and round.Wonderful user interface (UI). Tail cap has momentary ½ push high, full push turbo. Slick battery level and brightness indicator. Fully customizable selections from very low moonlight to extremely bright 2300 true lumens. Sensor that automatically reduces the light level if the head is in close proximity to something. Pro/Con is debatable around the magnetic charging. I personally like it, super easy to use and works well. Well-designed large pocket clip (reversible) and the light just feels ultra-premium in the hand. Magnetic tail to hold it to metal surfaces (upside-down only, won’t hold it sideways) and tail stands easily. Comes with a nice sheath (much better than average) to carry on the belt or via Molle.Con: Expensive and a little big to everyday carry EDC. Proprietary 21700 5000mAh battery.

Solid new offering from Wurkkos. I’m a self-avowed flashlight nerd, with some $400 customs mixed in with $10 beaters I’ve ordered from questionable overseas outlets. Wurkkos manages to hit insane price points but still hit the quality of the better known makers. So the good on this one (and it’s mostly good). Clean threads, great o-rings, well made. I picked up the purple anodized version (hey, why not?) and it’s spotless. I love dual switch builds when it doesn’t get in the way of interface, and I think they’ve hit it pretty well here. Rear switch is easy to find when it’s dark / you’re panicked / you’re wearing gloves, but that heavy clicker isn’t any fun when you’re trying to access a specific mode. The side button lights up when the back is pressed, helps for finding, great. Lumens and candela / throw are fairly insane for this price on an 18650 battery. I think my favorite addition is the SOS mode, and now I’m wondering why all my lights don’t have SOS between “flash wildly to make a mugger have seizures” and “homing beacon in the woods” mode. Their dual clip is still great, and it’s light enough at 4+oz to put on a hat brim if you wanted. And of course, on board charging is great for lights I might gift to someone who doesn’t have a fancy charger.Only question is how to compare against the TS22. Smaller battery than the TS22, which means diameter is a bit less, but it’s actually longer to fit in that big reflector and the tail switch. And it’s only about an ounce less weight. So, I’d go TS22 for more staying power, a bit less comfortable in pocket due to diameter, and better as an ‘emergency phone charger.’ Otherwise it’s this new FC12 for the dual switch and that sweet SOS light.

My first Wurkkos torch/flashlight and I'm very, very impressed. Glad I got the tactical mode version. Grey colour is great. Maybe they could bring out a 21700 version. I'm so impressed with this product I will definately be buying more torches/flashlights from Wurkkos.
