What is shown in the picture is not what you get. I have ordered these twice now and both time they arrived with a locking clip that will not allow it to be removed from the terminal without pressing the tab to unlock it. That makes it really difficult to remove in tight spaces and you cannot cover the connector with heat shrink, because it covers the tab used to unlock it!

The majority of these types of connectors may differ but overall are the same.I will specifically seek out this type in the future. The big difference? Most connectors have a "locking" bar which secures them on the male termination. These typically just require force or a very precisely placed pick to remove.THIS version includes a nice little lever portion so that it is very easy to disconnect, but still stays securely positioned.Be mindful of how long your exposed wire and sheath goes into the crimp area, if it goes too far you will defeat this feature by putting material underneath the lever.

I must have bought a hundred of these damn terminal kits over the years and each and every one of them have always been stingy with these female spayed connectors for whatever damn reason. So I finally pulled my head out of my rear end and just bought a whole bunch of them and I couldn't be happier that I did. If you do wiring of almost any sort on projects that are worthy of electrocuting yourself with then you're going to need these or have used these extensively. That said these are nicely made they do the job they hold on tight and they don't smell like cheese. Don't ask me how that last part was relevant. So buy them you'll be happy you did because you'll be alive and not dead which is important

The crimp connectors are great for microswitch for use of homemade controllers for buttons. Used my crimping tool the wires are tight enough but don't forcefully pull it out though use a flat screw driver. My main issue is that the crimp connectors are so hard to pull out. One of my lamps for my buttons got almost damage but still working fine. Other than that I'll buy these again for my leds

These are fairly robust terminals. I'm happy with them. They are nonmagnetic and tin plated over a brass looking type metal. You can crimp them to a 14 AWG wire with good result. Maybe even a 12 AWG wire.Certainly for the money you won't be disppointed.
