Function introduction:
The infrared emitting diode of TCRT5000 sensor continuously emits infrared ray. When the infrared ray emitted is not
reflected back or is reflected back but is not strong enough, the infrared receiving tube is always in the state of shutdown.
At this time, the output end of the module is at high level and the indicating diode is always in the state of extinction.
When the detected object appears in the detection range, the infrared ray is reflected back with sufficient intensity
and the infrared receiving tube is saturated. At this time, the output end of the module is at a low level and the indicating diode is lit up.
Wiring:
1. VCC: connect the positive pole of power supply (3-5v)
2. GND: connect to the negative pole of the power supply
3. DO:TTL switch signal output
4. AO: analog signal output (different voltages are output from different distances, so this pin can not be connected in general)

10 of 10 worked properly. Decent build quality. The digital output is truly digital, unlike some other sensors I’ve purchased. Only negative is the detection range, which is limited but accurately specified in the product description.Would recommend.

Edited: works good with highly reflective surface. Tried on drone propeller. Painted blades with liquid chrome marker. One need mirror like reflection to work with high speed movements. Will do further testing
